One other thing, visiting coaches are the ones who decide which way they play, it it really becomes a true home court advantage the visiting team will switch. Normally coaches like having their teams defense in front of them in the second half, because it’s easier to get plays called to their team when the game is on the line. That is why you normally see games played the way they are. Jerry Sloan always opted to do the opposite. He’s the only one I can think of who did that.

I like the idea of the wall, especially being fans only. Unfortunately they will probably put clipper Daryl in there and it will ruin the whole thing. He is more about promoting himself, than the Clippers.
It took me a while to realize that.

Yes, I think Popovich liked having the defense in the 2nd half too.
You might be right about Sloan.

College atmosphere? I actually hate that. The only 'home-court advantage' I like is when our players are better than their players. Because I like reading your posts, can you expand on what you hate about it?

I just don't think fans should be a factor, particularly when their goal is to make players that I've paid to see play worse. As for a bunch of frat boys shrieking obscenities and crude jokes, why would anyone want to endure that?
(I loved it when Coach K yelled at a group of Duke fans, and the announcer noted that these weenies looked like it was the first time they had ever been reprimanded by an adult.)

How do you feel about face and or chest painting? If those people did it without shrieking obscenities and crude jokes, is that ok?

How do you feel about face and or chest painting? If those people did it without shrieking obscenities and crude jokes, is that ok? As Nadal famously said about what it would take for Kyrgios to settle down and concentrate on tennis, "Eef eef eef ..." On the ESPN Portland boards, a guy had an avatar of he and his son with their face painted at a Trail Blazers game. He was a minister at his church, so he would not be one of those shrieking obscenities and making crude jokes. Right before the ESPN boards went to that ESPN Robust format, he posted a link to his church. So, I can say, those people do exist. Would they exist at The Clippers Wall? I don't know. We might find out.
