hope it's a better game than last night, turned that diarrhea sandwich off at halftime. Hawks have won four-in-a-row at home. Some more stats if arsed (british slang for "caring"):
LAST 10 GAMES: Hawks: 6-4, averaging 120.6 points, 45.2 rebounds, 26.5 assists, 6.4 steals and 3.3 blocks per game while shooting 46.9% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 123.3 points per game.
Clippers: 8-2, averaging 119.9 points, 43.5 rebounds, 28.1 assists, 7.7 steals and 5.9 blocks per game while shooting 50.0% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 110.6 points.

PG and Zub were both bad. PG was relegated to being a spot up 3 pt shooter and missed seven of them which just leads to long rebounds and fast breaks for the opponent. We need the active PG back, but that may be too much to expect with his b2b and groin issue. Zub was super rusty.
Hawks will probably try to run us off the court so we might have to see early Westbrook and Coffey entries, especially if PG isn't keeping up, and I'd put Theis in the rotation too. I don't know who is going to stay in front of Trae Young. Not Harden, lol. I guess that's Mann's job.

Might be smart with a soft tissue injury to sit him or keep his minutes limited. As for guarding Trae, it's def going to be Mann and Russ. The speedier guards probably aren't Mann's specialty so could be a big game for Trae. This is where Russ has value to us. On a back to back, we will need him to bring the energy. Plus he's taking defense really seriously so containing Trae will be huge. I'm not sure why their record isn't better, they have some solid players and I think Trae was def an all star snub.

Strained calf again for Zu. Just rest him until after all star break.

Strained calf again for Zu. Just rest him until after all star break. I don't think it's a new injury or setback. Just precautionary.

Strained calf again for Zu. Just rest him until after all star break. Not "again." Same issue he's recovering from, the doubt is from playing him in a back to back on his return. Looks like coach is holding him out. He did not report problems with it beyond getting back in game shape.

Was curious to see how Atlanta does defending Kawhi, since they have some big forwards (Johnson, Bey, Hunter) to put on Kawhi. They def have more than most teams, but so far it doesn't seem to be slowing him down.

They're leaving Powell open in the corners. It's not working.

Hawks are running roughshod over the Pacific this week having defeated GSW, PHX, and LAL in consecutive home wins. That's two lottery teams and an always injured team, as of now.
Hawks have a 5 game road trip in March, facing two Northwest teams, and 3 Pacific teams. A 3-2 record on that trip would be a disappointment for the Hawks, pre trade deadline.

Sieman says Harden's been fouled on a 3 for every game this trip. I wonder what makes him so hard to defend without fouling on that shot. I don't see the leg kick that he used to do, but guys continually are in his landing space.

Harden with the nail in the coffin off the glass 3 pointer and 1. Amir gave us great minutes, I'm shocked how good of a season he's having.

Awesome to see Coffey getting late mins and contributing big time. Kawhi and Harden dominating. Westbrook, Theis also huge off the bench. Looks like a great road win. ✊🏼
