Nope, I had a visitor for the weekend and was out for drinks and dinner. Glad I missed this game, sounded pathetic.

yah, hiked Herb Jeffies in Palm Desert. Excited to receive my first ever pair of trail shoes (Nike Pegasus Trail 4 GORE-TEX) in mail today as prepping for hike/camp south rim grand canyon late June South Kaibab with two dinners Phantom Ranch. Gotta get in shape as rescues are over $10k lolz.
Also glad missed last night's game.

I don't know whether to be alarmed with the players or the coaching. To Westbrook's credit, he does not mail in games like our team did last night often. This team just doesn't play hard every game. It gets amplified when they miss shots, but you can just see not boxing out. Lapses on defense. Not running or pushing a pace almost ever. All the aggression is on the other side. They can say they don't want to be a flip the switch team, but just doesn't seem to be in their nature. We had the 6 game losing streak earlier in the year and then all the big dogs started hustling for a while. But now, there's always lulls. Lue might be a little hamstrung, but you gotta play other guys if your starters or main rotation guys are coasting too much. The problem is those other guys are mostly unproven, but I'd hope they would at least play hard.

LAL, meanwhile, crushing that same team by 20 or so.

Or, I guess they called in " identity" now, sounds much more benign..

Watching the game, I thought PG and Kawhi played hard for the most part. I thought PJ played hard too, he's just not very good. I did not think Mann was cutting it. I didn't think Zu was cutting it. I didn't think Theis or Plumlee were cutting it. I didn't think Harden or Coffey or Bones were cutting it. I didn't think anyone other than our two stars was willing to play hard, or get to where they needed to get to in order to make the shots they knew they were best at making. Nor was pretty much anyone on the team looking to play hard to get rebounds.
Zu just has not been the same since his injury and that is concerning.
Mann and Coffey are just not good enough, and that is concerning.

So Coffey hasn't warranted the congratulatory coffee cup emoticon, in a while?

PJ plays hard. Boxes out, takes charges. I don't like him, but I gotta call it like I see it. Zu has to be more effective if he's going to be the old school big man. To his defense, they never give him the ball in the post. I thought earlier this season he was actually pretty decent down there and would get at least 1 post up per quarter. But either way, if he can't shoot 3s and can't guard the perimeter then he has to play really big inside. He's been back for 6 weeks now, not sure what the problem is but he was great in December when we were also at our best. Mann's shot has actually been really good the last 3 months. He's a pretty good defender, just not a shut down one.

Clippers are playing like a first round exit team right now. I would not bet on the Clippers to beat New Orleans in the first round. So do they extend all of these guys with massive contracts and hope things get better as they get older?

The way they are playing now will put them in the play-in.
