Well we hit a speed bump, went careening off the barrier, and almost spun a 180, but we managed to right the vehicle at the last second and cross the finish line first.

Nice win. Not crazy that Harris and Danilo were invisible down the stretch. Really don't like when our sixth man is the crunch time scorer going back to Jamal. I would rather have an offensive system rather than streetball.

I would rather have an offensive system rather than streetball. The difference between Harris and Gallo’s disappearing act down the stretch is that Gallo will actually hurt you with idiotic turnovers. And what the hell is up with the shot clock awareness (or lack thereof)?!?

The Clippers just beat the 2 best teams in the NBA both in OT. Am I crazy to say that the Clippers are a really good team? I think the Clippers can compete with the best of them. This roster is deep. And we still have some potential studs developing with the AC Clippers, and we'll have enough cap space to sign 2 max players. Holy cow.

Does this call for a celebration beverage, that's similar to the one in your avatar?

We can't sign two max players while keeping most of our main players, right? Wouldn't we have to dump Harris and Beverley to do that?

The point spread in the Times yesterday morning was "off". That means the bookies don't know if key players are playing in the game so they don't take any action. Mistwell got Clippers -1 from some place. I looked at ESPN and it was at Clippers -3.5. Then we got the news that Mbah a Moute and Bradley were not playing and Green and Livingston were playing so it went to Warriors -3.5. That is what happened on the entertainment sites like ESPN. What the real bookies were taking actual bets on was probably an entirely different story and could have very well been a two point spread all day. I did not check what any of those sites were doing. So big difference between the entertainment sites and the sites setting actual betting lines. We covered whatever Clippers line you chose.
Obviously, we had a lot of problems with the Warriors defense the last five minutes of the game. They really play some lockdown defense that we could not get any good shots against. We were very fortunate to win the game. Gallo and Harris both had real problems when they stuck tall defensive players on them. They are not that good when their shots are contested like that. And we could not get Harrell the ball in the post. Leaves Shai and Lou to win the game. Shai has to learn to get his shot during these situations and close games. And take pressure off of the other players. A lot to expect of a 20 year old rookie but he is good enough to do it.
