Will teams stop with 2 all-stars or do they bet the farm and try to bring in 3 at the expense of trashing their bench?
Assume an all-star costs $30 million, a journeyman $10 million and a vet minimum $5 million. Either option gets you to $110 million for 7 players.

Neither. I want 2 superstars sourrounded by 1 all star and role players.

I think you can win with two if surrounded by a quality supporting cast.

It depends on how complete the superstars or All-Stars are. If they don't contribute much to certain areas, then it's probably best to have 3 All-stars.
If they are more complete, then two is fine.

Superstars all day.
Bench can be built on budget with smart moves.
