I'm glad to hear Zub is making progress. The Clippers won't fare well for long starting Mann, Coffey, and Plumlee.

Our deep bench play has been so bad that it makes me wonder if they should be bringing up Jordan Miller. Maybe after the trade deadline. I still think Bones should get more PT and then the game should slow down for him. And maybe one good game over the next week will give him some trade value, too. So keep trying. We've gotta have the worst deep bench play in the league by the numbers, I don't think I've ever seen them extend a lead. You'd think Bones would somewhat dominate in those minutes since he should be better than the average 3rd/4th stringer, but he's gone the other way. Miller seemed better to me than the guys we trot out there, but not sure if he's better off being there just in the hopes to get in during garbage time. I'd like to see him put on a little weight too.

You would think he's still good enough for that purpose at least. Bones as well.

Did not expect that. Figured he was out until after the all star break.

Our third stringers are only in when the coaches orders are to burn time off the clock, even if it means sometimes getting a shock clock violation or taking a bad shot at the end of the clock. Their guys are in to try and not let the final score be too embarrassing and be fast and aggressive. Boston just demonstrated when given more minutes and not just garbage time that he's making progress. What's Bones supposed to do with 5 mins of garbage time?

Still should be out there showing improvement, unless he's being told to specifically work on certain things I suppose. It hasn't just been 1 game either. And other teams have had their garbage time units win their minutes. It's good to see from Boston, but at the same time he was just facing a team that isn't that far off from G league level defense. On the whole, I haven't seen much improvement from him. Even if his role would be to just be a microwave scorer/gunner off the bench, he needs to be much better to even be in consideration for a role like that.
