This will be the year remembered as when we built almost the entire team and depended on wings. Maybe next year we'll try all point guards and if that doesn't work, the year after we'll try all centers. We have two average or above average centers in Zu and Plumlee. We have a point guard that is one of the top in the league in assists. We are thin at PF but Theis should be able to fill in. It's not about the construction of the team. This team is not playing defense. They just gave up on that end of the floor.

Other than Kawhi, and maybe Russ, I don't feel like any of the others on the team have enough of a taste for the jugular to get pissed off. To be a champion you have to feel like failure is just not an option, it has no room in your life. Zero. What I am seeing is a collection of talented players who are too ready to accept mediocrity. They may not like it but they are too ready to live with it, losing is not the end of the world for them.

Predicting a win. Need to snap this home losing streaks badly. Crazy how went from such a hot shooting #1 record for a month or whatever to this heaping pile of garbage. PG needs to stop being "creative" with passes and the team cut down on the TO's. Lez go, Clips! I think your predictions are worse than v-ice's. Lately. Your prediction of my poor prediction was an accurate prediction. 🤦🏻

Call me a Pollyanna, but I haven't given up on the team I've followed faithfully for decades. I still believe they can make the play-in.

Some Thoughts:
First, Ty Lue needs to stop confusing Correlation with Causation. Yes, we've done well with 'small ball' lineups this year. But we've also done well with 'Big/playing with a center' lineups too. The notion that this team could in any way shape or form, be better with PJ Tucker in the lineup (over Tmann, or Plumlee, or Theis, or Zu for crying out loud) is ludicrous. On D, he's a sieve. He moves his feet quickly but he's backing up and then puts up a hand that's a foot below the shooter while he's backing up. What's the point of even playing? He doesn't get rebounds. His offense is non-existent. Despite what Sieman says, he brings nothing to the table except negatives.)
Boxing out. No one on this team, besides Zu, ever boxes out for an offensive rebound. Like ever.
Playing fast. You have to have to have to play fast in today's nba. Not only do you get more fast break points, but the three's go down, because it's all muscle memory, no thought.
Perimeter defense. This is on Westbrook and Kawhi - for god sakes - stay in front of your man.
Despite all of this, with a few lucky breaks, who knows, we can still win it. But it's looking less likely each game. We're actually in danger of falling to the play-in.

Call me a Pollyanna, but I haven't given up on the team I've followed faithfully for decades. I still believe they can make the play-in. And then watch the Rockets beat them, mirroring 2022 when they (and Cleveland) lost both play-in games, as a top 8 seed entering the play-in.

They sure look 100% on Harden to me.

And LAL beats the Bucks. (That was without LeBron). Here's a prop bet: Which team is more likely to be a play-in team? LAC? or LAL?

Pels lose so go back to fourth and a game up in the loss column. I know it's pathetic to celebrate this. And, yah, can't Lue just go back to the lineup that paid mid-season dividends and we eliminate Tucker.
Start: PG, Klaw, Zu, Harden, Mann Subs: Plumlee, Westy, Coffey, Powell (sometimes Theis if needed) No more Boston, Bones, PJ.
