Great to see Dirk get the standing ovation at the end of the game. Great gesture by Doc.
Great game by Harrell. At least on offense. We need a stretch five on offense to give him space in the key. He still needs a center for defense and rebounding on the other end of the court. Zubac is coming along. He did a nice job in the third quarter with the rebounding.
Shai reeked. They did not even bother guarding him. He was just left wide open at the three point line. And then when he missed a few of those open looks Beverley would not even pass him the ball. I guess with Gortat and Tobias gone that Shai isn't used to playing with Shamet and Zubac. And Zubac isn't doing pick and rolls like Gortat was. So Shai is kind of picking his shots instead of driving to the basket. And missing those shots. And getting benched for the bulk of the second half last night. So he has to start developing some chemistry with the new guys on offense or Doc is just going to go with the veterans down the stretch. It was Beverley, Temple, Green, Lou, and Harrell for most of the fourth quarter. I hope Shai can get it going against the Jazz. Anyway, good win against a Dallas team that played hard. Doncic really a triple double when he did not appear to be playing all that well.

We were lucky to be playing the Mavs. Any good team would have beat us.

It is not just about the record. We should have lost at Boston and Memphis. Should have won at Minnesota. Did not play that well at Denver or against the Mavs. So that 4 - 2 should maybe have been 2 - 4. So I am all with V-Ice on this one. But we can get better. Has to start with the starters. And Shai, Shamet, and Zubac. They need to quit playing like rookies and start playing like veterans for us to be compete with playoff teams.
