KPJ and Kobe Brown looked decent to me. I did not see the end but hear it did not end well. Too many turnovers but I can see their defense is better.

I was hoping KPJ would be a good back-up PG for us, but watching him made me think he will be more of a scoring guard and won't be so good at running the team. Dunn mostly played with Harden, so it was hard to tell if he will be good at running the second unit. Mann and Jones Jr. both looked too hesitant to score for what we are going to need from them. I guess we don't need PG and Westbrook to still turn the ball over a lot. I know it's the first preseason game so turnovers and poor shooting should be expected. I think the defense will be improved this season and it needs to be because we won't be as good offensively.

What channel did you guys get the game on? I was pissed when I saw that it was blacked out on NBA channel.

I have Clipper Vision, so that is how I watched the game. But since David Pingalore was doing the sideline reporting, I am assuming it was on KTLA.

I believe the correct terminology, coined by clipsentuboca, is "Crappervision".

I guess Bally’s is not televising anymore which sucks. They do not carry KFLA in La Quinta. Does anyone know if League Pass has blackouts of Clips?

It's looking like Amazon is going to pick up the Bally's Sports contracts, but I don't think it's finalized yet. League Pass blacks out locally. I am in LA, so that is why I signed up for Clipper Vision originally. But you can access it in almost the same way as League Pass, it is through the NBA website and app and I think price wise it's comparable to single team League Pass.

That’s quite helpful.

I'm a little concerned this team is gonna struggle on offense. The FO definitely course corrected and got more on ball creators, but do we have enough catch and shoot guys to hit the 3s at a high rate off those? Also DJJ, Mann and Dunn are all gonna be pretty hesitant offensive players when they get the ball so that may squeeze the offense similarly to what Dallas was able to do in the postseason without Kawhi. This all still hinges on Kawhi's health of course and I liked the signings, but not sure this amounts to better than a play in team. OKC on the other hand have added Caruso and Hartenstein to a 1 seed without any integral losses. Harden says he's in the best shape he's been in for the last 5 years. It really would take him being the Houston version of himself for us to outplay our expectations, especially since Kawhi is probably unlikely to play over 50 games.

Yeah I am wondering if icing out Bones was such a wise move. We may need what he does, but we have not devoted enough time to developing him.
