Who were his financial advisors? They suck. My GF has no job since covid and I took her $100k investment account up to half a million dollars this week. Next stop is $1M so she can spend $1200 whenever she wants, but she won't. It's not that hard to be financially independent at whatever level one is at. Marcus will complain that he is a victim in 3,2,1...

Yony Noy, the agent who represents both Morris brothers, also came to Marcus Morris' defense after his arrest became public and noted on social media that the charges were gambling related.
"Just so everyone understands this is zero fraud here or whatever crap outlets have said regarding fake checks or whatever the hell," Noy wrote on X. "This is due to an outstanding marker with a casino. Apparently if you have over $1,200 they can issue a warrant for your arrest. Absolute insanity!"

Marcus Morris allegedly stole more than $250,000 from Las Vegas casinos, per
@tmz_Sports
“According to court documents we obtained, the NBA player allegedly got $115,000 from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino via bad checks in May 2024 ... and never paid it back when the checks bounced. Officials state around a month later, in June 2024, he performed a similar scam at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel and Casino ... netting $150,000 through checks he knew wouldn't cash.”
