I am more thinking extrapolating Shamet into the future, was he alone worth Tobias Harris? As in, would it have been a fair trade if it was just Harris for Shamet, with no picks involved? I am starting to think the answer is yes. Considering we were likely to lose Tobias for nothing and Shamet is locked into a very team friendly deal, absolutely. Tobias of course is a much better player, but it looks like someone will be offering him a max contract this summer. No thank you.

BTW, BasketballReference lists his nicknames as "Lanbo" and "One a Day".

I'm going to see if benchonaquest likes that nickname too. Maybe he can incorporate that into his Clippers art. The only downfall about the Shamrock nickname is the Boston Celtics. People steal things from other organizations all the time. I don't know which team started the 3 goggles, but a few years ago, several teams were doing it. When James Posey had a dunk for Boston in the playoffs, one of the Boston announcers called him "Late Game James", parodying a Lakers nickname. There was also one year where I counted 4 teams that had the word "Rise" in their slogan. Cleveland (Rise Up), Houston (Red Rising), Thunder (Rise Together), Chicago (Rise). Once Shamrock has a few moments in the playoffs, then people will associate him with the Clippers, and not Boston. There's even two players with similar nicknames: Antione "Big Dawg" Carr, and Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson.
