I can imagine some fans picking that Bulls game last year, because it was cheaper in price. For some fans who can only go to 1 or 2 games a year. Then when they got to the arena, they realize that the Rockets put out a discount team. If the Rockets had a 4 or 5 game lead in the standings like last year, Harden would probably have been resting by now. TNT should make Phoenix-Dallas the first game of the double header, since it's Dirk's last home game. Second of all , Harden only sat alone one game coming down the stretch last year and this year and none for load management. So you can't say for sure he would be sitting this year with a secure seed. Harden has already been quoted that he loves to play basketball and he isn't sitting......Even though he is tops in the league in minutes played and he rarely gets hurt..... Unfortunately there will be games where stars don't play..especially down the stretch...I as a paying fan would be more upset with those players that are doing it for "load management" in the middle of the season. I don't see a difference between sitting out a game for load management, and sitting out a game because the coach knows that they are facing a team that they can beat blindfolded (the Chicago Bulls in last year's game). That's why I think that if they finished the season playing Memphis or Washington, and had their seeding secured, they would probably rest Harden, because they can beat those teams without him. I wish Giannis would have played more games this year. Same with Gallinari. Lou Williams is 32, so I guess if he really needs a break, he can have one, even though I don't like it either.

I listed it correct. I believe we are now likely fucked. It may well be beating the Jazz will be meaningless. Spurs would have to lose to Mavs, which seems unlikely.

So we need to win and have either the Thunder or Spurs lose. If not we are 8th and we are fucked, lol.
Bucks are sitting Giannis and Lopez but they will be at home and still have a lot of other good players, OKC will be on second night of back to back.
Mavs may want to win for Dirk in what will probably be his final game.
Utah is locked into 5 seed so tomorrow’s game is meaningless for them.

It'll be GSW in the first round. MIL has nothing to play for, they should rest their starters and not risk an injury, SA has very little chance of losing to Dallas and every motivation to stay out of the 8th seed.

I wonder if Steph’s ankle injury changes Doc’s approach to tonight’s game.

Screw the Rockets. Good to see them get a probable matchup against a tough OKC opponent than them getting a free ride by playing us in the first round. We get the Warriors and it is more prestigious losing to them than it is to lose to the Nuggets or Rockets. Let's face it. Any one of these teams probably sweeps us. Let's just have some fun with it by losing to the two time champions and go from there. Job here is to convince Durant or Thompson to join our team this summer. Not to beat them. No free agents on the Rockets or Nuggets to be had.

Tonight: We want Nuggets to beat Jazz We want Rockets to beat Thunder We want Blazers to beat LakersI was trying to figure out the last one. I thought you might have wanted Portland as the 3 seed. Portland won the season series 2 - 1 against Houston, and Houston only has 1 game left, while Portland has 2. So then you'd want Houston to lose their final game, and Portland to win their final two, so Portland can get the 3 seed. So it seems contradictory to want Portland to win so they can get the 3 seed (and presumably face the Clippers as the 6 seed), but then also want Houston to win, which would deny Portland of the 3 seed. Bump mistwell? I was trying to figure out the Portland one. If Portland and Denver both win, Portland will have the 3 seed over Houston. www.blazersedge.com/2019/4/10/18304214/standings-update-blazers-rockets-jazz-nuggetsOut East, if Charlotte wins and Detroit loses, Charlotte gets the 8th seed over Detroit.

Lillard and McCollum being sat out tonight for the Kings game. So they are trying to concede third place to the Rockets. But who knows. They may win the game anyway. Hopefully, the Kings are still trying to win. Not sure the Blazers want anything to do with the Thunder in the first round. They would probably rather have the Jazz. And the Rockets for sure don't want the Warriors in the second round instead of the WC finals.
