Capela is a much better defender than Randle. And his offense isn't based on ISO moves like Randle. He compliments CP3 and Harden by getting baskets in the paint off set plays and offensive rebounds. Perfect player for that type of offense. Randle would never fit trying to do that. Capela definitely underrated. He should be an All Star based on everything he does. A Draymond Green type who can score. He should be in the discussion, agree. And even if he plays with Harden on offense, Capela still does a lot by himself on defense. He doesn't need to thank Harden and Paul for that. Capela is comparable to Gobert. I think Gobert is still a little better, but it's close. Speaking of Gobert, he passed Malone for most points-rebounds double doubles in a season with 63. Malone had a 62 double double season. Stockton has the most double doubles in a season for the Jazz with 69.

You guys are giving Capella a little too much credit on defense....He's a decent defender and an elite rebounder but he doesn't change the game like Gobert does on defense. He isnt elite.....Gobert has been defensive player of the year and he has been on the all-defensive teams for the last 2 seasons and just outside of it the previous year. Capella has never even gotten a vote.... Capella while decent gets abused by the bigger centers so we have to bring in Nene to help.... Don't get me wrong I like his role for our team but Harden does make him look a lot better than he is kinda like CP3 did for Deandre Jordan..you dont hear much from Jordan anymore do you??? You even compared him to Draymond Green with scoring....over half of his scoring is from lobs from Harden or pick n rolls....Draymond has also won DPOY and is perennially an all-defensive team member. No comparision... I will repeat again Capella has not even received one vote..... Currently he is 12th in blocked shots

Bring on the Rockets.... we won’t blow a 3-1 lead this time. Uh no! That's probably not going to happen now....Gonna be a sweep with the Warriors...get a preview with your next game..... The no-name Lakers with G-League all-stars.......disappointing.....

Well we can forget about Portland. Can't catch the Jazz anymore.

Hopefully we can win the last 2 remaining games and see what happens with the Nuggets, Rockets and Blazers.

Looks like we will fall to #8 seed and end up playing the Warriors. Bring them on.

On a positive note, Shai has been an absolute baller lately. The sky is truely the limit, especially in today’s NBA where you need your PG to be a scoring threat.

So I went away for the weekend to San Francisco, did not watch any Clippers news, and came back to apparently we've fallen apart and all hell has broken lose.
Lovely.
Can anyone provide a summary of what they think has happened the last three games which might summarize why we appear to suddenly suck when we were definitely not sucky for many months prior to that?

It’s pretty obvious that Doc threw in the towel for the last week or so after we clinched forgetting that the seeding matters. It’s also obvious how important Bev is to this team, so much so that he may be our true MVP.

OK, so here is the plan to avoid 8th seed:
1) We must beat Utah. 2) Rockets beat OKC.
If those two things happen, we avoid Warriors in the first round.
There is another outside chance Spurs lose to Mavs, but that seems highly unlikely. I think the only realistic scenario is the one I mentioned above.
Let's make that happen. Going to be hard.

So I seriously doubt they rest. Beverley better play on Wednesday.

That Lakers game hurt us badly, but now I don’t feel as bad as Utah just lost to them as well. We need to win vs Utah and see what happens. Most likely 8th seed for us. It’s all good though. Let’s play the Warriors....

Let’s play the Warriors.... I don't see it as "most likely 8th seed". We beat Utah, and OKC loses to Rockets, and we're out of 8th seed. Both seem like a decent chance to me.
