It's pretty normal for lead changes to happen in the 4th for any team. It's closing out in the final couple of minutes that's important, not lead changes earlier in the quarter. We didn't "give up" those lead changes, the other team went on runs. Not sure what team in the NBA doesn't have that happen on a fairly regular basis? Also, they were both playoff teams. In fact both have higher playoff seeding than our team I believe? Come on. Playoff teams in the East. Indiana is a sub 500 team without Oladipo and they were also playing without Collison. Brooklyn is barely a 500 team. Both teams on second night of back to backs. And it's not like they were hitting crazy shots, we had no rim protection during that time. Brooklyn is a pretty good road team. It seems like ever since they moved to Brooklyn, I always see many times during the year that they have a better road record then home. Not currently, but they definitely had a better road record earlier in the year. As for Indiana, for most of the year I kept hoping Tyreke Evans would play like he did last year for Memphis, and find his role on his best regular season team ever. He has never seemed to play consistently well this year. So I can't even say that his one good game was because of his ability to step up, because he hasn't been able to do that. Collison isn't much of a loss. Indiana's record on back to back's: First Game: 6 - 5 (3 Home, 8 Road) Second Game: 8 - 3 (6 Home, 5 Road) The Pacers got 35 defensive rebounds on 46 missed shots, while the Clippers got 29 defensive rebounds on 42 missed shots. Their rebounding by the starters and benched seemed to be better.

Yes, we sucked on defense the last two games at the end of the fourth quarter. Yes you could blame a lot of it on lack of rim protection. Yes that would kill us in the playoffs against every team that we might play. That is why I was hoping Luc Mbah a Moute would come back this season so we could defend better at the end of games. Harrell does have long arms so he can play some post defense. Our guards can't stop dribble penetration from a guy like Tyreke Evans and it killed us last night. And they could not stop Shai from getting to the rim which killed the Pacers chances of winning. So I guess these new rules of you can't touch the offensive players without getting a foul called on you is turning it into a shootout at the end of games. Instead of who can get defensive stops. So I think it is better to have Harrell in those situations in that he is more likely to score than Zubac while both of them are likely to get scored on on the defensive end.
Entertaining game last night. Tough Pacers team that was highly motivated to win and stop their losing streak. Turner, Tyreke, Bogdanovic are good players. But we got the win and Shai helped us get it with his clutch play in the last two minutes. Pacers outshot and outrebounded us so we gave up a big lead. Weakness is evident on our team. Chandler, Temple, Shamet, Green can all be guarded and shut down. So Shai has to be a star to go along with Gallo, Lou, and Harrell for us to be good. Beverley hit a huge three pointer last night. His shooting is good but he never gets off enough shots.
