I can't find how long their contracts are.
Usually Pro Sports Transactions has contract lengths of executives too.
But not them.
It doesn't even mention the Clippers hiring them. It only has Winger with the Thunder, from 2012.
Does anyone know when their contracts end?
Also, retain them, or is there a better assistant GM and President Of Basketball Operations available?

With Ballmer's money it makes executive pay and contracts almost irrelevant. Nobody can outbid us for these guys.

From Doc's interview today on the Woj podcast (which is a very good episode by the way - well worth listening to) it sure seems like they are all a very tight unit behind the scenes. Doc was particularly talking up Frank. I strongly suspect nobody is going anywhere. They all seem in for the long haul. Also, under Balmer they went from 4 guys in the front office in cubicles (literally four total guys) to SIXTY people.

Business wise you can't really do that. If he wants to leave for a promotion he can leave, and he would probably leave a team that doesn't even let him explore opportunities. My guess is they told him go check it out, and please give Clippers an opportunity to match or adjust his offer. |

Could be a number of things. Could be he has it guaranteed in his contract. Could be there is a provision in his contract that prescribes a penalty should he accept another position before the contract expires. Could be a whole host of things going on that we don't and may never know about.
Personally, I couldn't care less, it's the Logo I mostly care about.
