Seiman is the radio guy so I wasn't counting him, but I do like him a lot. I hope he gets promoted next season when Ralph leaves and takes over as our main play by play guy. Seiman and Maclean would be a really good announce team I think.Good post. That sounds good to me too.

Not sure if Maclean wants the job. He does a lot of college games from what I understand. And does a lot of player development. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_MacLean_(basketball)Look at his Wikipedia page. Somebody already updated it to say he received a lot of flak for blasting James Harden on a nationally televised Rockets game on April 3, 2019. This is crazy. He gave an opinion about Harden's game and now everybody is bashing him and its part of his official biography.

Man, Rockets fans get triggered so easily, they're almost on the level of Laker fans now.

Welp. Today is the last day Ralph calls a regular season Clipper game. I’d be lying to you all if I say I’m not fighting tears right now as I type.

Worst broadcast of a basketball game I have ever heard in my life. Bill Walton was atrocious. The guy must be going senile. Did not know any of the players on the court, did not provide any meaningful commentary, disrupted Ralph constantly so that he could not call the game. Just all around terrible. Glad that Walton has been gone for the last 20 years or however long it has been. It is good that the broadcast acknowledged that Ralph was leaving and all but did we need to hear that for three straight hours. I watched the ESPN coverage of the game which had the more professional Jeff Van Gundy calling the game who was like 100 times better than Walton.

Walton was so bad I put it on mute. For Lawler's last game, and I muted it, because it was that bad. Just horrible.

The atmosphere in the arena was ELECTRIC! It was a REALLY special evening for Ralph. In the after party in the season ticket holders lounge, LOADS of ex Clippers joined the fun- Marques Johnson, Pooh, Rhino, Koralev(!), Cat Mobley, The General, OP, Keith Closs(!), along with Walton and Elgin. If someone can tell me how to add photos to my posts, I'll do that😁

To upload photos, you'll have to upload them on the web first. You can use Flickr, IMG UR, or whatever you feel comfortable. Once that's done: Click on the button with the photo frame icon. It's to the left of the clabberboard, and to the right of the email icon (the one with the envelope). If you hover over it, it will say "insert image". You can then provide the direct URL of each image that you've already uploaded. Or, if you had already used one of those photo sharing sites, then you can link the album directly in the post itself, without using any of the editor buttons.

Ben Maller, on Fox Sports Radio, shared a story. He said that Lawler called into Maller's show after Olowokandi first started playing (his first practice, or preseason game), and said "if Olowokandi is not an All-Star within 3 years, then I'll kiss your ass at midcourt of the Great Western Forum).
Lawler repeated his claim a few days later again, when he saw Maller.
I don't know if Lawler ever completed the deed.

His wiki says he stopped in 2002, and went to ABC/ESPN, but I remember a few games in 2002-2003, and 2003-2004. He wasn't full-time, though. Maybe a fill-in.
