How about that dominating performance yet again for those Houston Rockets....the Jazz and really no one has answer for Harden...so many ways he can kill you and dissect your defense...there's a reason why he is MVP... I don't like his game but no denying the results. I really do think you guys can take the championship this year.

Of course we have to stay healthy and that's the big IF....our team really is better than last year and much deeper....everyone keeps talking about Luc and Ariza and we see what they are doing now....but with the additions of Rivers, Faried, House Jr and Schumpert we have much more depth this year and don't lose as much when going to the bench... Gerald Green gives us instant offense as well....We have several defensive wing players that can switch on anyone..... And who says we don't play any defense...#2 since the all-star break..kinda funny how that works out when everyone is healthy and you have a full team...their sensation Mitchell who killed OKC last year has an APB out on him....Ingles...the guy that killed the Clippers a couple of years ago hasn;t done crap..he can't even get a shot off....

I don't think anyone is afraid of Austin's whopping 8.2 Player Efficiency Rating or Shumpert's 6.2 PER either. It's worse so far in the playoffs in fact (Austin 5.9, Shumpert a MINUS 3.2, which I didn't think was possible). Green and House are fine as bench players, and Faried is good. But the opportunity to force Austin and Shumpert to take the shot will hurt that bench play (particularly since both like to shoot but shouldn't be shooting). Shumpert is barely getting minutes anyway.
But let's face it, you're running Harden, Tucker, Capela, Gordon, and Paul with very heavy minutes, with pretty high minutes for House, and then things drop off a lot from there. Rivers is getting too many minutes for his production in my opinion (his defense is not good enough to make up for it). If ONE player goes down between Harden, Tucker, Capela, Gordon, or Paul, I think the Rockets see a massive drop off in their replacement unless Faried can run a lot more minutes than he's proven to be capable of recently. It's not like Boogie Cousins being replaced by Bogut. Rockets remain thinner than they should in my opinion. If they fail this year, it will probably be due to that bench weakness with an injury.

The Warriors team we saw last night is damned good. They play like that against the Rockets and the Rockets are in deep crap regardless if they are healthy or not. I think it is easier to wear Harden down in a seven game series than it is to wear Curry and Durant down. That may be the difference. Whether Harden can last a seven game series at full effectiveness. Warriors are a going to be a tough out in my opinion. Bogut is going to help against Capella and they will not need to double Harden. Klay can't handle him but he can make him work for his points.

Harden may finally be ready to really deliver on the postseason stage without falling off. I think Houston may be playing better ball than the Warriors. The 2/7+3/6 side of the bracket is pretty weak, whoever wins that series goes to the Finals. I think Milwaukee could challenge either team too if they make it through

Dame Lillard, what a special moment that was. That guy is everything you want in a superstar. Great player, great leader, not whiny, doesn't care about teaming up. Just a great baller.

And to walk off like that against the trash-talking OKC team was even sweeter....I love seeing Westbrook losing again in the 1st round as well... Unfortunately I know how the OKC fans feel right since he did the same against us 5 years ago......

That was an awesome end to that game. Lillard is just stone cold. And from that distance, with that confidence, waiting to the last second with a hand in his face. Stone cold.

By the way, I said Clippers were a better team than Thunder and got some laughs here. Clippers are a better team than Thunder. I'd pick us in a 7 game series over them. They wouldn't have taken even one game from GSW.

First round was/is boring because of all of the mismatches. DEN v SAS is the only competitive series and that is a surprise.
Looking forward to the second round: MIL v BOS, TOR v PHI, HOU v GSW, POR v ?.

My money would still have gone on the team with superstar(s)..................... It's your money to lose. Naahhh because you nor they were going to be high enough seed to have opportunity to play each other....you both brought up the bottom half of the Western conference so it was never an option....

I think Dame might have put an end to the Russ era in OKC. Thunder are in the same position the Clippers were before trading CP and Blake. That team will go nowhere with Russ, PG and Adams eating up all of that cap space. They need to clean house. They don’t have a savvy front office like we do.
