What they'll adjust to is Beverley's coverage of KD. Once KD starts scoring off screens with his height advantage, the perimeter will open up as well.

They had the recap of the Shamet three pointer in the paper today. They said Curry and Thompson doubled Lou Williams so he passed to Shai in the paint. Iguodala was all over Shai so he could not shoot. He saw Shamet on the wing and got the pass to him for an open look. And he sank the three pointer.
So this is definitely how they plan to adjust to Lou Williams. Trap him and force him to pass. Guys like Shamet and Gallinari have to have a big night for us to win this game. And no you don't win a series by winning game three. You still have a defending champion who won a series last year by beating the Rockets when they were a game behind in the series. I don't think we will win the next two games but I think we need to win them both to have a chance at winning the series. Even up 3 to 1 I think the Warriors would still be the betting favorite to win the series since they would have two home games left. All they would need would be to win game 6 at Staples after taking care of business at Oracle in game 5.
But we are getting ahead of ourselves. We need this win tonight. Everything depends on containing Curry and Durant because I don't think their other players are enough to beat us. Shai and Shamet really get a chance to build on what they did Monday night tonight. We may have found our backcourt for the next 10 years. Or we have a hell of a package to offer the Pelicans for Anthony Davis. Either way the future looks really bright for us going forward.

Clips are forcing for Klay and KD to play D. Which takes a toll on there offensive plays. This is huge.... runnng around chasing Shamet and also Lou. If Gallo can hit the open shots, I can’t see them stopping us from scoring..

The key to this game is the same as every other game. And that is hitting shots. Klay and KD can relax on defense if our guys are cold. Saw that in the Jazz loss last night. The Jazz could not buy a three pointer so the Rockets just sat back and let them shoot those shots. While they basically rested on defense. Jazz got slaughtered in a really ugly loss. So Gallo and Shamet prevent them from doing that to us. And Klay and Durant have to guard them. So yeah it may be slowing them down on offense.

Of course you don't win the series by winning tonight, of course not. But comparing this year to last year is equally mistaken. Last year the Rockets had won the conference with the most wins, the Warriors were the challengers in a sense. This year, if they fall behind the Clippers, the 8th seed, who have no superstars and were not even supposed to make the playoffs, in a year when cohesiveness has been in question with the locker room issues -- Green saying to KD " we don't need you, we won without you" -- this year is different. Psychologically different. The talent is the same -- of course the Warriors are hugely more talented than the Clippers -- but the psychological landscape is hugely different. If the Warriors lose tonight, they have a much bigger problem than they did last year when they fell behind.

Psychologically the Warriors think they are the better team and if they play hard and focus they can beat us in any given game. So whether we go up two to one or three to one or whatever they still will think they can beat us. And the reality is they can. So the only way for us to win this series is to win four games. Champions don't get beaten psychologically. And they never get closed out of a series without putting up a hell of a fight. So it will never be over until time expires in our fourth win. I think V-Ice is more accurate in saying we should wear them out by making them play defense. Forget the psychology. Just keep hitting them as hard as you can until they go down.

W Scott Foster officiating, we won’t get any close calls at all. We almost need to play a perfect game. We are capable though.

Sounds to me like you are arguing for the sake of arguing. No one is saying anything about the Clippers winning the series, nor is anyone saying a win tonight means the Clippers win the series. You seems to be arguing against an argument that no one is making. So yes, everything you are saying is correct. The Warriors will not lose the series without putting up a fight. Duh... The Warriors can beat the Clippers in any given game. Duh... The series is not over until the 4th win is over. Duh...

Ugh. Fuck. Foster always helps the visiting team. And if anyone argues with him, he goes worse on that team too. He thinks he's never made a bad call. Nobody can talk to him. Players are afraid of looking at him the wrong way. In the 2016 poll of refs, he got the most votes for "worst ref in the entire NBA".
How the fuck is he reffing a playoff game?
The other two are pretty good at least.

Other than it being a home game for us, Foster could be an ok thing for us. The Warriors players have much more ego than ours and definitely bitch to the refs more. We used to be that team, but those guys are much more animated than our current roster

If the Warriors lose tonight, they have a much bigger problem than they did last year when they fell behind. This doesn't mean as much to me.
Expectations change.
A few weeks into the season, it looked like the Clippers would be good; the Nets would be good; and the Magic would be good.
The Nets were expected to win 32 and they won 42.
The Magic were expected to win 31, and they won 42.
The Bucks were expected to win 48, and they won 60.
All of those teams played better than expected at the beginning (it wasn't a case with a big second half surge, like what sometimes happens, with Utah being a good example), so expectations changed early on.
I started looking at the Clippers as a team with 3 stars early on.
As I said in another thread, if they had played the Nuggets, I would have predicted the Clippers to beat them in 5 games. I thought other than the Warriors, the Clippers had the talent to make it a good series against other teams.
Good points on the rest of your post.

I can't check the old board.
Is he also the referee that DoubleTechnical had in his avatar?

Lou is a pretty good passer though. That's how he can rack up double digit assists.
Radio hosts were pointing out today, that when Lou is doubled, he picks people apart with his passing. When Durant is doubled, he turns it over.
I heard that from 2 different radio hosts within the past 24 hours.
