Curry's foul trouble reminded me of the playoffs game in 2004 when Nash had 4 fouls in the first half. Or another playoffs game in 2004 when Cassell had 5 fouls in a quarter, all in the 4th.
While this Clippers-Warriors game didn't actually approach those foul levels, it appeared that it might.

Other than it being a home game for us, Foster could be an ok thing for us. The Warriors players have much more ego than ours and definitely bitch to the refs more. We used to be that team, but those guys are much more animated than our current roster You've been quiet for most of the season, until the past few weeks. How are things?

We're in a tough spot, our defense seems to be to completely not guard Green or Iggy along with either Bogut/Looney whenever they are on the court. But those guys don't make bad decisions and they start attacking so deep that they end up getting open enough shots for their good shooters. They also can set screens on Steph and Kd's guy and if the screen is good those defenders have no help since the screener is unguarded. I'd rather we just played them a little more straight up, those guys are good enough decision makers to hurt you for playing it that way. That being said I don't think their defense was significantly better than ours, they just have much better shooters taking the same shots.

Of course, an optional strategy might have been to try to play some D. Crazy idea, I know, but it might have worked. Not once throughout the entire game were the Clippers able to get two consecutive stops, including when the Warriors carelessly turned the ball over. Add to that their 10 offensive rebounds, so even when they missed, they got a second shot at it, and their percentage was 55%. So figure it out, that all actually means virtually every time they got the ball, they scored. I don't know what part of "any time the Clippers played hard defense they were called for a foul" is unclear?

Zubac was a big part of our defensive improvement at the end of the season. Not sure why he is on such a short leash now.

Zubac should be able to run circles around old man Bogut.

The reserves are killing us badly. Bogut, Iggy, Looney, Cook and Livy. If we can hold 3 out of the 5 we be in good shape. But if all are doing something positive no way we can be them.. we need to shore up our D vs them...
