A combination of his/her SN, and epithets / derogatory names ("Glassanari") used in posts are problems.
I don't want to lose other people because of this person.
Options:
* Ban user until this person creates a better user name with a new account.
* IP Ban (a more permanent type of ban)
* Have people that don't like this person's posts, use the ignore feature.
(Go to Edit Profile-->Privacy--> Add username to "Member Block List")
* Let this person continue posting.
I'll leave this thread up for at least 2 days, maybe longer, depends on how many responses there are, and what type of consensus there are. But I won't do anything for at least 2 days.

japkilla, can you change your SN? While your account name can't be changed, your "Display Name" can be changed if you go to Edit Profile-->Personal, and change the Display Name there.

Some North American Indian tribes had a form of punishment that was considered very severe, they would condemn the guilty person to non-existence status. The entire tribe would behave as if he or she did not exist. They would not talk to them nor would they hear them when they spoke. I think that would be appropriate, especially in an Internet forum where cowards get the unearned gratification of being bold and brave.
