Austin played well for them. He's not a great player or anything, but guys like Austin don't grow on trees either. You know you'll get a guy who plays tough D and isn't scared of the moment, they have in a good role 16-18 min There is a whole league where you can find Austin's... its called the G-league

Makes you wonder about Game 1 Yeah unfortunately he was sick that 1st game...I for one had my mind changed on him once I was able to watch him day in and day out.... he is a better than average defender and keeps his defender in front of him...not a lot of straight line dribble drives...he helped to save our season when CP3 went down...he has a little "dog" in him too...every now and then he can hit 3 too and at times beats his man off the dribble with ease......i for one hope we can keep him next year....

Austin has played fine the last two games and they missed him in game one.
Warriors not getting much out of their reserves. Only eight points last game. Curry looked like crap. Missed a lot of open shots and layups. He has a normal game and the Warriors win by 10 in the last game. But Iguodala had an abnormally good shooting night. Draymond Green also having abnormally good games with all the rebounds, assists, and points. So even if Curry has a good game those guys could revert to having bad games. And the Rockets could still win. Just hope Harden does not get worn out trying to carry his team. Probably Durant will guard him along with Green and Iggy. Warriors can have a good defender on him at all times and he can still put up 40 against them. The guy is just an amazing player.
Warriors are vulnerable this season. Rockets need to play hard on defense and wear them out. And hit enough shots to outscore them. Hope that Klay and Curry stay cold from the field. CP3 doing a great defensive job on Curry. So I am going to hope the Rockets win tonight and tie up the series. Rockets - 1.5 is the point spread.

And I think Rockets have a decent shot at winning this series or taking it to 7. We shall see.

I want to see Harden guard Durant. If that happens, then I'll watch the game more carefully. Instead of losing interest.
One refreshing thing about the Portland vs. Thunder series was that Westbrook and Lillard guarded each other for much of the games.

They don't even play the same position so why do you think that should happen? Westbrook and Lilliard play the same position.....Durant also doesn't primarily guard Harden either...thats mainly Iguodala and Thompson... As far as the most entertaining matchup/series... the game on saturday was the highest rated game since 2011........... higher than NBA finals...talk about interesting..

It's nice in theory, but is that just for entertainment purposes or is if you were coaching would you do that? I just don't think it makes any sense to put the guy who does your most lifting on offense on the other teams number 1 option. Especially when you have better (Tucker although there are no good options) to put on him and has much less responsibility on the other end.

Durant does guard Harden though. Its those long arms. He is more difficult to shoot over than Klay and Iggy. Of course they don't do it that much because they can't afford to get Durant into foul trouble.

Give him a different look. Maybe Harden has the right wingspan.
It's not for entertainment purposes, it's to change up the defense.
The top past guys could do the heavy lifting at both ends of the floor.

Neither of these teams are interested in guarding the best players on the court.
Kevon Looney should be playing for the Bakersfield Jam. He shouldn't be guarding Harden.

Harden putting quite a performance together, maybe he has the confidence now to keep playing like this in the postseason
