If Milwaukee beats them pretty handily I think Kawhi will still come. For as much as they helped him in the regular season, his team isn't really showing up for him. Milwaukee will take them out if they play like that in that series. I was hoping that Toronto would just lose tonight so there would be less emotional investment, I do think we'll get our shot to pitch him.

I am pretty happy for Marc Gasol. Classy guy the way he consoled Embiid after the game. Tough loss for the Sixers. That was a great drive by Butler to tie up the game with four seconds to go. Never saw a shot bounce on the rim four times like that other than Blake Griffin's shot a few years ago. Really a weird bounce. Agree that it hurts our chances to get Kawhi. Being a hero to a city and a country is a hard thing to walk away from. Unless he just hates the snow. Then we still have a great chance. Gasol really kept Embiid away from the basket and prevented him from scoring in the paint. That really helped the Raptors win this game. But their guards were terrible. Can't imagine them beating the Bucks with such poor play from their guards. Maybe Bucks in five.
And yes McCollum did to the Nuggets what he did to us at Staples last time we played them. He was on fire and took over the game. Made like 24 points in the paint or something as Griffin5 said. Good to see the Blazers make the WC championship. Maybe if Durant is out for the next two weeks they can make it competitive. If Durant were playing it would probably be a sweep. Warriors just have too much firepower for the Blazers under normal circumstances. I will go with Warriors in six.

Blazers have more heart than the Warriors... if the Blazers play like the Clippers then they will take the Warriors down in 7

Incredible shot by Kawhi last night! It will be talked about forever. I find it harder to believe that he would be willing to walk away from this situation this summer.
On the other hand there are several teams that will have to move significant players. It will be an interesting offseason.

There are now some teams who want a good shooter who is also big, like Gallinari. That's a definite hole some teams need to fill.

Philly's offense was awful down the stretch. Butler made a huge play, but he played a part in that too. And Embiid was just hanging out on the perimeter, but still there were instances where Butler should have passed it to him but instead dribbled them down to awful clock situations. Maybe it's coaching though, but you have to do better than that. Sucks if Bret Brown costs us Kawhi, our whole plan blows up without him.

If Kawhi winning with his team in Toronto is going to be a factor in his decision to stay or leave, I don't think advancing out of the second round will do the trick, they would need to at least get past Mil, and I don't see that happening. With the Clippers taking 2 games from GSW, I think it's clear now that the Clippers without Kawhi are on a different level than Toronto would be without Kawhi, and adding himself to the Clippers would result in a far better team than Toronto. Add to that the other assets the Clippers have to get even better than just Clippers + Kawhi, plus the attraction of returning home to So Cal, you'd have to think that beating Philly does not weight all that much. Now, if they get past Mil and come close in the NBA finals against GSW, that would count for something.

Portland vs. Denver:
It was hard to watch the first half of game 7. Portland looked out of it.
They were down 17 in the 2nd.
Lillard didn't shoot well all game, he went 3 - 17, but as I've said a few times this year, I've liked his overall PG play this year. He got rebounds, assists, and a key steal early in the game.
Almost had a triple double in a game 7. When Westbrook did that in 2011, it was the first time since Pippen had done it in 1994.
He was still making an impact.
Congrats to CJ. Great game 7.
CJ is really good at runners off the glass.
They made their FTs.
Evan Turner is not a good FT shooter, but he went 8-9 today. Great job.
4 turnovers all game.
That's what you need to do, rebound and protect the ball, and not be sloppy.
Harkless also had a key play.
I've been down on CJ this year, because he's not getting to the foul line as much this year, as in past years.
But he was great these last 2 games, especially with 37 points in a game 7 and 0 turnovers.
Philly vs Toronto:
Another competitive game 7.
It came down to the last shot. Funny how there had never been a buzzer beater game 7 before.
2 game 7's that came down to the final seconds. It's rare that it happens in both games in a day.
A 4 bounce buzzer beater.
