After what Bev did for this team I can’t imagine there’s to much more pressing than resigning him. He’s a must sign. We’ve also got McGruder. Thornwell and Wallace aren’t guaranteed contracts and they will likely be gone. No matter how many guards we have I think we make sure Bev stays. Not if he's going to be overpaid. 10m per year over 2 years or 8m for 3 years is ok. Basically similar to Lou. Any more than that we should let him walk. It’s tough to put a number on his value. His game is unconventional so you can’t place as much weight on scoring. There’s a case to be made that he was in the running for our MVP. We’ve got his Bird rights and we should negotiate in good faith while letting him know that we have to first look to sign a superstar and then we will take advantage of such to reward him.

10.6/yr, 3 years, total $32M over 3 years. That's the max I'd pay him.
