Clippers -2 in this game. O/U is 222. Not sure why we are favored. No status on a CP3 suspension that I know of. Rondo deserved to get punched if he spit on CP3. Well things would be a lot simpler for us if he isn't playing. Rockets had to play a tough game against the Lakers last night. Are they going to be ready to play us tonight? I guess we will see.

Tuned in late to the the game. No comments yet?
4 point play by Harden? Jeez!
Shai and Tobias have looked good. Montrez looked good until that last play.

Shai is the real deal. I've been cautious about him, but the ore I see him the more I think he could be an all star.

Through three games, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the Clippers in Total Net Rating (+33.0). The team is +9.2 points per 100 possessions offensively with him on the court as opposed to off, and they're +23.9 points per 100 possessions better defensively with him than without.

I just watched the 1st quarter on LeaguePass. SGA on Harden--wow! The kid's long arms disrupted all of his shots as well as swatted away some balls. He will get on the floor for his defense, he will become a star when he develops a jumper.

They have all of the games on DVR.

We hit a remarkable 26 free throws in 26 attempts. That has to be a record for us. Wonder what the all time NBA record. Tough to find this record listed anywhere. We needed every one of them. The Harden shot at the end of the game that missed would not have tied the score. He had his foot firmly planted over the three point line so it would have only been a two. Rockets played a pretty representative game (even though they did not have CP3) and we still beat them. Harrell, SGA. Gallinari, Harris all came up pretty big in this game. Gortat and Boban were not really factors. So this may be how it is in closing games. Go small with Harrell, Tobias, and Gallo and hope for the best. Great game and it was entertaining. So this team has no real go to center which is our weakness but a lot of guards and forwards that can keep things interesting if they are on.

I've seen much better foul shooting games in the NBA. 39/39 is the record. www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/198212070POR.htmlbkref.com/tiny/GWh7U

Thanks for posting that. The record is 39. The 26 without a miss could be a Clippers record. Whatever it is damn good and we needed all of those points.

Was a very fun game to watch. When the Rockets were down by 6 and had position of the ball I was very worried. I thought back to when Eric Gordon was a rookie and he fouled Ben Gordon on a 3pt shot which he ended up making in addition to the foul shot.

Dallas missed the first free throw (Eduardo Najera), then went 49/49 for the rest of the game.
I kept wondering how long they could keep going.
Dallas won game 1 at San Antonio, and that seemed like a good sign for them finally beating their rivals.
Dallas would lose all 3 games at home, and only win the two road games.
Yes, the 26 without a miss IN THE SAME GAME is a Clippers record.
I don't know what the record could be if counting the end of one game, and beginning of the next.

When is the last time we had a go to center in crunch time? Boban is a definite go to center whenever he’s on the court. He’s already won a few games for us in that role. I’m happy with Boban or Harrell or both closing games for us.

Gortat's been competent in his minutes as well. Not great, but he's been fine.

Gortat's been competent in his minutes as well. Not great, but he's been fine. Agree. He sets "crushing screens", and can play in the low or high post. Harrell and Marjanovic also bring other things. Between the three of them, they can be used as the situation calls for. Normally a platoon isn't a good thing. But in this case, I think they all bring something in the minutes and role that they play.
