Yeah, those are the same FB and Twitter pages I saw. Good catch on his LinkedIn. He's always doing something. Maybe he's just too busy right now to bring CT back. I just remember his post in May or so, when he said "I love ClipperTalk". Well he did finish an new degree at the end of 2017/beginning of 2018 and get a new job. So it's possible he just doesn't have time. It's also unclear, but he may be back in Utah now instead of Los Angeles. He never really left Utah. He's been there since 2012. I guess you missed his posts in Clippers games @ SLC, when he'd occasionally check in and report what it was like, at the game. There were probably at least 3 such games, over the past several years, that he attended @ SLC. I tried to compile a list one time of all of the road games people attended. Oh yeah, the thread was called "Clipper Nation" or something, and I tracked every road game people had attended. I think I found one game where 2 people from CT attended, but they didn't know the other person was going. I miss that thread. That took some work to dig up. Between clipps going to Denver games, and @doubletechnical going to SLC games, we had good representation from half of the Four Corners. v-ice also has family in Phoenix, so every few years, he might have gone to a Clippers-Suns game. He at least went to the game 7 in 2006.

I now get this message any time I try to post on that other board:
"Database Error E211 - your post was not saved. Please contact us regarding the problem and try again later in a few minutes. Thank you for your patience."
When I try to send them a message about it...I get that message.

DoubleTechnical's forum has less issues than their forum. At least when his forum has a problem, then it generally affects everyone, and nothing worked.
Inconsistent issues, like what we see on News Surge, are harder to figure out.

Here's the response from the News Surge admin, about why I can't access PMs still. This probably affects mistwell: ++++++++++++++ I dug deeper as the system has alerted me of some unusual activity. It appears that whoever has been giving you reps are the same person, which could cause him and all his accounts to be banned permanently as manipulating the reputation system is strictly against the site rules. Therefore unless you receive 3 reputations votes from other members, I am unable to have the developer manually get your PM access restored.

I didn't do it from the same accounts, and I didn't do it from the same IP address. Which means he's reading this forum. Which makes him an asshole for intentionally going to these lengths to prevent us from notifying our userbase of the change.

Do admins have the ability to read PMs? I didn't type the URL of this forum, because I couldn't type URLs. So I used abbreviations.

I just checked. You only gave me 2 votes. Daisy gave me the 3rd.

Yes imagine that. Daisy.

Yes imagine that. Daisy. Oh. LOL! And here I thought it was a coincidence that 2 people both joined and were posting at the same time, within a short time period. I'm surprised with a forum with that many members, you could find a SN that didn't need numbers.

So to make matters even more interesting, when he said that the same person gave me reputation, I gave an example of how I think these things are all about timing. And I mentioned how on Friday, I noticed a new user "Daisy" who joined at the same time as me. And since we were the only ones active, I started following that person's posts, seeing what threads they were posting in, and then responding to them.
And I said it helps me to get to know a user better.
I could have gave an example of how I did the same thing on a car forum when I joined that car forum, or BBQ forum. But the Daisy example was the most recent, so that's what I gave.
It adds another dynamic as to how/why the admin thought they were all the same person. Maybe your reason is right, not sure.

I still blame the 3 day break between game 6 and 7. It gave the old dudes on the Suns some much needed rest. Going to games as the opposing fan is quite the experience though. Unless the home team really sucks, you're most likely gonna get disappointed because your team is on the road. When you get that win, the taste of victory is amazing. I remember some passive aggressive shit talkers right behind me throughout the Boban game. Oooh boy they did not like me after the game was over. I still have yet to see the Chargers win a game at Mile High though... Sigh... Someday.
