Luke Kennard has missed 15 of his 17 3-point attempts this season. If you believe in averages, as I do, this means he will be on fire at some point and will have a hard time missing,

Jordan and Doncic had a long hug afterwords. I'm glad they're on good terms. I also didn't realize Jordan led the league in FG%, and eFG%, 5 years in a row. I still wonder what Dallas would have been like, in a full year, maybe two, together with him. From what I’ve read, Jordan was absolutely hated by the fans in Dallas.

Maybe the fans hated him, but if his teammates liked him, maybe the latter matters more.
There's also the reverse sometimes. Fans love a player, but teammates don't.
That wasn't a two second hug, it was longer.

I was trying to point out that I don’t think Dallas was going to keep him Past his one year contract. I would imagine he makes genuine friendships wherever he goes. He always seemed like a good guy to me.

When I went to a game in 2010, Jordan had a special handshake for not only almost every teammate, but some members of the opposing team too, before the game. It wasn't the same handshake either, there were a few different ones, based on which individual he was interacting with.

They traded him for Porzingis during his first season. I remember Cuban saying something at the time about how he didn’t work out. I couldn’t find it because when you search about Jordan and Cuban, everything is about the indecision. It’s know one of the reasons he wasn’t liked by the organization and fans was when they realized how he padded his rebound numbers by ripping rebounds out of his own players hands. Also his defense wasn’t what they thought it was going to be.

Also his defense wasn’t what they thought it was going to be. Good point.
And I had forgotten to take the Porzingis part into account. Yeah, that was a good move on their part, no matter how Jordan was playing.
As for the padding rebound part, there was one clip of him probably accidentally knocking Doncic aside to get a rebound. I don't think Doncic ever said much about it, he probably thought it was an accident and got over it. But fans latched onto it.
I also think it's ironic that in Dallas, fans thought he "padded" his rebound stats. While the criticism of him as a Clipper, was that he really didn't get enough rebounds.
There were some great videos jglanton posted from this Bulls game, where Griffin and Jordan are caught watching several times, near the end of the game, while the Bulls get the rebounds.
The Clippers would lose this game, at home.
That wasn't the only time, there were other games where it appeared the frontcourt didn't out tough others for rebounds either.
Ultimately, as a Maverick, if there's a chance to get Porzingis, Dallas made the right decision to get him. Even if Porzingis would continue to get injured as a Maverick too.
They even traded for Porzingis, when he was in the middle of missing the entire season due to injury.

How about them Rockets??? 6 in a row and big win over the defending champs!! Van Fleet, Brooks and Jeff Green providing valuable veteran experience. Alperen Seguin has been a beast for us.
