Hawks beat Boston twice within a few days of each other.
First was a 30 point comeback.
Second had a career high from DeJounte Murray.

Malachi Flynn scored 50 off the bench for Detroit in a loss to Atlanta.
Marcus Sasser has shot poorly since his return from injury. He looked good before his injury. One of the many reasons why I and a few others thought Detroit was not the worst team in the league, because they had some talent. If Sasser can't play up to what he did earlier, than that reduces what I think of their talent.
I'd say Washington is the worst team in the league. Worst defense in history. Too small. Bad guards.

Here's hoping the team will watch the women's UConn-Iowa game. The UConn girls could teach them a little something about defensive intensity and relentlessness.

Can't believe they have players playing 40 mins They are 20 years old and pumped full of adrenaline. I was very impressed with that Croatian girl, Nika Muhl. She was unrelenting defending Caitlin Clark. Not an easy assignment. Fun game.

Can't believe they have players playing 40 mins It's happened in a few other games this tourney too. Not necessarily by the same teams, but I have seen that some players are playing complete games.
Caitlin Clark even said that it will take "all five of us" to win the title, implying that there won't be a bench.

I liked watching Muhl too.

After scoring 50 points the game before, Malachi Flynn goes 0/12 the following game.

Pistons take 39 3-point attempts and 4 FT attempts.
Nets take 27 FT attempts 33 FT attempts.
Cam Thomas (who I've called Kevin Durant lately) has 11 FT attempts.
Still not sure if he earns all of those. As in, I'm still thinking about it, haven't decided.

Doc 15-17 since taking over Bucks…lost four straight. May drop out of #2 seed w Magic/Knicks riding their ass.

dunno, but where did the Magic come from? Admittedly not been watching anything non-Clippers related and not following the East especially. When was the last time Orlando was relevant? T-Mac, Penny, Shaq days perhaps. Must be exciting for their fan base to finally be playing good, winning ball again.
Miight watch some GS/LAL tomorrow, as it features some legend HOFers probably going full throttle, but likely not. Actually, perusing the schedule, the Clips at Suns same time…maybe tri-split-screen a bit w Padres/Cubbies also.

Actually, perusing the schedule, the Clips at Suns same time…maybe tri-split-screen a bit w Padres/Cubbies also. I've been posting about Orlando all year. They, to me, are the biggest surprise team. Probably have the biggest increase in wins. Back in early December, when they seemed pretty good, I mentioned it then. However, at that time, they were mostly good at home, and bad on the road. They have since improved a lot on the road. As for the last time Orlando was relevant, I'd say the Dwight Howard years. They beat a 66 win Cleveland team in the playoffs. Although they themselves had 59 wins, so not too far behind. They went to the NBA Finals. If Jameer Nelson was fully healthy, they might have done better. And I'll give some respect to the recent Vucevic years. They never won a playoffs series. But, consecutive years in the playoffs are not a bad place to start. Vucevic and Aaron Gordon were a decent frontcourt. The best team about this year's Orlando team is their #2 defense. They will give you a fight all game long.

BTW, a podcaster I sometimes listen to had a 3 team parlay last offseason for 3 division winners.
One of her division winners was Orlando winning the SouthEast. I would not have seen that coming.

cheers for the Magic breakdown. Forgot about D-Ho and the stocky-and-tough Jameer. Exciting times for them.
