To be fair, GSW are not so good. I mean, they're the 11th seed right now and below .500.
T-Wolves and OKC are the most interesting teams in the west right now. I don't know if they both can sustain it but they sure both look good right now. I wouldn't bet OKC in the playoffs due to inexperience by T-Wolves have a lot of vets. Maybe that Gobert trade will be looking good.

Luka beat the Warriors in SF. Dude is Magic Johnson. I always thought of him as Larry Birdish... Larry Bird can make his FTs. He was a career 88% shooter. Doncic is 74%.
If I take FTs into account, LeBron James seems to be very close. James is a career 27 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 50.5% FG, 73.5% FT, 1.5 steals.
Doncic is a career 28 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 46.8% FG, 74.3% FT, 1.1 steals person.
Oscar Robertson was a 83.8% FT person, so that rules him out.
Jokic is a 82.8% FT person, so he is also ruled out.
Johnson was a 84.8% FT person.
I finally found another underwhelming FT shooter: Pippen.
16 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 47.3% FG, 70.4% FT, 2.0 steals.
Grant Hill is another underwhelming FT shooter:
16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 48.3% FG, 76.9% FT, 1.2 steals.

I was skeptical of the Kings last year, but even with inexperience I think OKC is for real and will be a tough out. Of course having playoff experience would've been helpful, but that's a good team and wouldn't want to be facing them early. I'd rather play the Suns.

They have size and they have athleticism off the chart. They also have a "superstar" that can take over and close games. I think they will be able to play with no pressure in the playoffs.

It's not an issue of pressure, it's experience. The game changes in the playoffs and they don't have enough experience with how it changes. Their defense will be exploited, their speed won't be as useful. We see a young team that was hot in the regular season knocked out in the playoffs most years. But we shall see.

Sometimes. But the Jazz made the Wcf with no experience in 2007.
The Hawks made the ECF with no experience in 2021.
The Grizzlies were a win away from the Wcf in 2011 with no playoffs experience.
The Spurs made the Wcf in 1998 in Duncan's rookie year, although they had some veterans.
The Trail Blazers added Maurice Lucas and won the title in 1977, after missing the playoffs the previous year.
The Suns added Steve Nash and made the Wcf in 2005.
The Pistons missed the playoffs in 2001 and made the ECF in 2002. They had a new Billups and Hamilton backcourt.
Depending on the matchups, a conference finals appearance for the Thunder is possible. A title is much harder.

The Warriors bragged about how Stephen Curry does not have two bad games in a row, after losing to Denver on Christmas. And how they were going to beat Miami.
And how they are geniuses, for drafting Jackson-Davis and Podziemski.
They then lost to Miami.

Odds I think remain against it but it could happen.

OKC toying with the Celtics, this team is SCARY I didn't get to see the game but it looks like it was pretty close, judging by the score as well as the Box Score. Most numbers were nearly the same for both teams with the exception of shooting percentages. One stat that jumped out to me is Boston with 33 assists and OKC with 34 assists. Must have been a fun game to watch.

They built a 20 point lead. And Boston stormed back and made it close. OKC is a real threat, I hope they meet the Nuggets in the early rounds. They also have a war chest of picks. Denver and them are the 2 biggest threats to us reaching the finals hands down. I just hope OKC doesn't pull the trigger on pushing the chips in with those picks for another year. SGA is probably my co-leader for MVP right now.

Lakers get beat at home by the Heat 110-96. It was a 2 pt game in the 4th before Duncan Robinson put them to be, along with some help from Herro, rookie Jaquez, and Bam.

They gave up Randle, Kuzma, Ingram, Ball and Russell (not to mention Zu) in order to get AD one year earlier — he would have come anyway the following year. Now they have to run on Lebron, AD and fumes just to keep up. Imagine where they would be today if they hadn’t given up all those guys.

They did win the championship that first year AD joined the Lakers, so my guess they would still do it again no matter how many asterisks people put next to it.
