Looks like a good move for IND. That should improve the Pacers enough to crack the top 4 and get home court in the first round. But it won't crack the top 3.

Great fit for the Pacers. Agree that they aren't in the top of the East with Mil/Bos/Philly plus we know Mia will be in the mix, but they're right there w the Knicks. Haliburton/Siakam will be fun.

Nice move for MIA to use the expiring Lowry contract to get some scoring punch. Rozier's having a career year.
Hornets are going to try to trade Lowry.

Lowry has a monster contract. I also don't think a lot of the contenders can sign him with the new rules that you can't sign guys who were on contracts over the MLE if you're over the apron.

The Suns are definitely coming around to contender status with their 3 guys healthy. They probably are the team who could use a buy out back up point guard the most so I guess it's good to see they can't prob can't sign one from the buy out market. I would guess it's pretty rare for guys to get bought out on smaller contracts, but maybe we'll see it more now if they're trying to get somewhere.

The combined $12.5 million salary between [Pat] Connaughton and [Cameron] Payne would put Milwaukee in position to land several targets, such as Portland wing Matisse Thybulle and [Los Angeles] Clippers forward P.J. Tucker, sources said,” wrote Fischer.

I'd like Cam Payne. I think that guy got was treated poorly when he was on the Suns and is a decent role player we could maybe use. Though he's a guard. He does allow us to trade some other guards though.

We already can't give any minutes to Bones. I wouldn't trade for any guards. Connaughton is better than Tucker but has an extra year on his contract and probably wouldn't get much if any playing time here. I don't think we force a trade, but if there's a good value deal I think the FO does that. Maybe even trying to restock some 2nd's to be able to use in future deals.
