There's no reason to trade Bones unless it's a package for a player we need and right now I'm not sure we need anything other than to stay healthy. Russ, Harden, PG and Boston are going to be free agents this summer and who knows if we are able to resign all of them. Primo and Jordan Miller aren't NBA players, for the foreseeable future anyway. We may need Hyland more than we think.

Kawhi made a remark to one of the Clippers reporters that he is holding down the PF spot until we get a real one. I'm not too sure what's available to us there that we can add that would get real minutes for us unless we possibly trade away someone who's currently getting minutes.

I didn't realize Boston is a free agent. Huh. Unless we plan to sign him for very little, he should be included in any package. Kid would be a rotation player on a fair number of teams out there.

2nd round picks plus spare parts are netting X. Tillman to Boston, and Fontecchio to Detroit.

We need a PF. Kawhi (as someone posted earlier) said he’s holding it down until we get one.

A back up PF would be helpful, but this feels like a deadline where it's going to be more important to our competition than to us. I think if no meaningful deals are made, it favors us. The 6 teams that matter in the West are the top 4 and then obviously the Suns (who I'd put 3rd) and the Lakers. As much as we want to make fun of the Lakers, they have a team suited for the postseason and their size will give teams trouble. As for the Suns, I put them just behind us and Denver.
I think the Suns will be aggressive in making a move for probably another forward. Those guys are clicking lately though with all 3 guys in the lineup. They kind of remind me of us. The 3 guys barely played together and then had a bit of an adjustment period but they've got it going now. OKC, Lakers and Minny can play spoiler to any of the Nuggets, Clippers, Suns. It looked for a little while that the East may be tougher, but I think the East is going to be easier.

Fuck him. He's negative value, we aren't trading a precious pick so he can go where he wants. And next year we have an expiring so we can trade a non rotation player for value now so doing a buy out would be dumb for us. If he really wanted playing time so bad, he should've waived his player option for next year and we easily could've traded him at the deadline but he didn't want to give up the money. Now he thinks we should just give him his money and let him go wherever and take the cap hit. Send this loser home.

Gallinari just got released. I expect there will some interest. Another one of the PF prototypes.

Gallinari just got released. I expect there will some interest. Another one of the PF prototypes. I would pick him up in a heartbeat. Probably good for 8-12 good minutes. He has size we need and he helps spread the floor. Defense is suspect but use him only in specific situations against specific opponents. Netter than not having him.

Lue says Tucker will get another shot to get minutes. Harden also said before the deadline that if PJ is still here after the deadline, he needs to get himself ready to reenter the rotation and that he can help out. We'll see. I wouldn't really want him to play every game, but he could be useful in some match ups.

throw him a fiver at the end of Pistons game as Clips favored by 14.5. Lolz.
Don't give him any regular rotation mins. Coffey and the bench playing too well.

Pj will get some minutes especially after all star break. I could see Mann minutes getting reduced even more.

Gallinari just got released. I expect there will some interest. Another one of the PF prototypes. According to Pat Beverley it's down to the Bucks and Clippers for Gallinari. Since when did players become sources on this stuff? If I had to guess I'd guess he ends up on the Bucks. I don't think we have guaranteed minutes to offer every game, nor a role over 10-12 min. The Bucks may not either. Gallo only played in 6 games this season so not sure what to take from his current state. He played pretty well offensively though. I think his defense is pretty shot. I guess he's either an undersized C or a slow PF. He's better offensively than Tucker since he can def pull the trigger on the shot and if PJ is too far gone as a malcontent then we'd have some use for him.
