Clippers linked to him according to Stein. Ppl are calling him a PF, but from when I watched him he didn't look very big. He almost played more like a SG imo. This would obv be if we were just trying to trade spare parts like Tucker/Bones I'd guess. Seems a little redundant though he's an ok player, but not sure what the vision is on this one.

If jglanton called Blake Griffin a shooting guard, at one point in his career, then I think Washington also qualifies.

He's better than Tucker for us. Seems not a bad move if we can do it without moving Mann, or a first round pick.

If jglanton called Blake Griffin a shooting guard, at one point in his career, then I think Washington also qualifies. When you hang out on the perimeter and take more midrange jumpshots than both Reddick and CP3, you are the SG. I don't know PJ's game. Statistically he's a low-efficiency scorer, scores a lot off the bench, rebounds more like a guard than a big, plays defense, and is always on the - of +/-. Takes most of his shots inside but has a poor FG%. Doesn't get to the line, either. Not a good 3 pt shooter. He's on a losing team and it doesn't look like he plays winning basketball. On the other hand, the last time CHA had a win he was a starter. He had a wild game last week scoring 43 points against the Jazz, 7 threes, 2 rebs in a loss with a -7. Playing against Olynyk who had 6 pts 9 rebs 8 asts and a +1. Rebounds matter. I think it could be a fvcking nightmare to have him and Westbrook on the same court. I don't know why we'd want him when we have Theis. I think if our bench needs an upgrade it is more rebounding/defense.

Yeah that's a complete non-starter right there. I can only assume that's a writer who doesn't follow the Clippers very closely. Clippers are looking to move Tucker and Bones, willing to add Boston and 2nd round picks, and for an AMAZING starter-level deal Mann and a first round pick. I don't think Powell is even on the table unless it were some blockbuster trade.
