If the regular season carries over, Sacramento is 5 - 2 against Minnesota and Denver. The road team won all 3 games between Minnesota and Sacramento.
The road team won all 4 games between Dallas and Sacramento.
Sacramento just lost Malik Monk. "Malik Monk has been diagnosed with a sprained right MCL and will miss 4 to 6 weeks."

Well, we have 6 games left on the schedule, half of them against sub .500 teams. If we can manage to not lose more than 2 of them — preferably 1 — then it looks like we are likely to remain in the 4 seed. Looking at who might be in the 5 slot, Phoenix has the toughest last 6 games, followed by New Orleans, then Dallas. (Sacramento is looking like they are going to the Play-in.) I going to assume Dallas will remain in the 5 slot, followed by Phoenix in the 6 slot. So I’m thinking round 1 will be us vs Mavs and we’ll have home court, and Phoenix vs. OKC. I am hoping the Lakers and the Warriors come out of the play-ins as they would have the best chances to knock off Minnesota and/or Denver. That would be the luckiest scenario for us in case we can get past Dallas, which I think we can. So maybe… just maybe… the stars might align for us… Just maybe… But of course, Kawhi needs to come back and come back strong, and sustain it throughout. I think if we win only 2 the odds say we keep 4 spot. I suppose if we win 2 and Dallas wins 4 we own the tie-breaker. But if they win 5 we slide down, they move up.

Well it looks like Dallas will be the opponent yet again? You guys could be to Dallas as Golden St. was to us for all those years.......
No way you catch Thunder since they own tiebreaker.....
Don't see Dallas catching you since you would have to lose all 3 and they win the next 3. But that would only give them HCA against you since New Orleans is too far behind you.
With New Orleans still having to play Kings, Warriors and Lakers they won't close in on Dallas either in my opinion, but it would take New Orleans winning last 3 and Dallas losing last 3 for New Orleans to be your opponent instead. That would be easiest route to me. New Orleans would need to be a game ahead of Dallas because I think by virtue of Division and conference record Dallas would win tiebreaker. Their series was tied 2-2.
Do you think Kyrie and Luka will be too much along with the additions of PJ Washington and Gifford at trade deadline?
The West is going to be great to watch in the 1st round with all the potential matchups, especially if the Warriors and Lakers somehow get the 7th and 8th seed.

I would prefer New Orleans as our matchup. But it won't happen. It's Mavs. Again. Like Groundhog Day.
I do not like the matchup this year. Mavs are meaningfully better, and we "seem" to be worse than the last time we played them, though it's very hard to tell. Kawhi does seem to flip a switch for the playoffs. I just wonder what switch PG and Harden flip.
