Hummmm.... Food for thought, but I'm not sure about the analogy... Edwards, okay... Though one could argue Edwards > Kawhi, at least so far this year. But I think every GM in the league would take a healthy KAT over a healthy PG in a heartbeat, at least so far this year. But we're only now finishing ACT 2 of this year's season. ACT 3 tells the story. C'mon Hamlet, come to life and kick some ass! Pretty sure he was saying that Edwards is their best player and KAT is in supporting role like George is to Leonard....... Yes, but I think corkscrew is saying there's a difference in the supporting cast tier from Towns to George. Or, maybe corkscrew is saying that Towns is on the same tier as Edwards, even if Edwards was better.

My bad. I made an off-hand post about both of us missing our #1. CS pointed out that Minn. #1 is Edwards, not KAT.

And I have no idea what a banana ranking is. On the ESPN boards, @fastenedseatbelt would post occasional banana rankings of the Clippers. This is what tier are various players. So it would be something like this: Top 1A Banana: Kawhi Leonard 2A: James Harden 2B: Zubac 3A: Paul George Sometimes he would use analogies like ripe or unripe; banana bread; banana pudding; etc. I think Livingston kept being unripe. But, I guess your answer is still that you don't know enough to want to compare Edwards and Towns.

Towns is better and also the more unique player, but he was also mediocre as a number 1 option and even goes between making spectacular plays/catching fire and then makes bone headed ones just like George does. While Ant and Kawhi are both consistently dominating and aggressive. It might be a little bit of greener grass for Towns. He's also a pretty maddening player, but has the appearance of a superstar when he's hot.
