Harden's absense should make up for Kawhi's.

I guess its because Kawhi is still officially listed as OUT. When that changes, the odds should tilt back to LAC

Must be. I guess last night's blow-out with the same lineup is seen as an aberration.

It's game 80
We're resting Harden, Kawhi and Paul George.
Zubac and Westbrook are both listed as questionable. [Edit oh and Powell - all those players I just listed are resting]
So we're basically punting this game because our seeding is essentially locked up, though we may need to win one more game after this.
If all those guys are out I am not even sure who we're playing as starters. Bones, Powell, Mann, Coffey and Plumlee? BBJ, Kobe, Moon, PJ and Theis off the bench?
Man, first that sucks for people who bought tickets to this game. Second, if Suns lose that will be incredibly embarrassing for them.

Oh well. I'll be in a meeting anyway so I won't feel the need to check my phone.

I'm in Maine, so there's no way I, or any other decent citizen, is going to be doing anything interesting like watching basketball at that hour.

This is the funniest game of the year. Just straight out hilarious. We're fielding third stringers and g-league guys against the Suns and their three hall of famers....and currently winning. Bones Hyland, who was out of our rotation, has 33 points so far. Seriously has as many points as Booker and Durant combined.
This is absurd. The Suns truly are awful. They desperately want to win this game for seeding, and are just terrible. I so wish we had them in the first round. We'd sweep them. Heck we could rest one of our stars and sweep them.
If Suns don't win this game, I can't imagine how embarrassed they will be.

Bones now has 37 points. Score is 100 to 96, less than 10 mins to go in the fourth, Clippers lead. This is so weird.

Well, we lost. Ty Lue pulled PJ Tucker to give Kobe Brown more minutes and that was the difference really. I genuinely think we didn't want to embarrass the Suns too much. It seemed we took the foot off the gas in the fourth with intent. Suns losing would have opened the 7th seed to the Lakers.

Looks like I tuned in at the wrong time. Seemed like a lot of effort and heart but fell short at the end with a couple bad possessions and open misses. Commendable performance but we need to wrap up home court vs Utah and not need a win the last game of the season.

We seem very much like we not only wanted to rest guys, but also make sure that Phx won that game.

Explain why we wouldn't want to 'embarrass' Phx? They're professionals. What's the upside?
(If LAC really threw that game, and likely they did, shouldn't they get a hefty fine from the league?)
