Which game do you mean? Can't be the last one, where he got a triple-double and 19 points. (Sunday: 27 pts, 10 reb.; Thursday, 50 pts.). I have only been watching sporadically, but he's looked fine, EXCEPT that he clearly cannot run at full speed. Sunday he was terrible in the 4th (played the whole 4th and went scoreless). And yesterday he was pretty bad the whole game. Really bad shooting, awful turnovers (9 total) at the worst time, missing easy shots in the 4th, dumb flagrant foul at a critical point late in game up 4. It's different than Kawhi who just looked super limited, he actively makes boneheaded plays imo. Obv he's a great player, but during the regular season you hear a lot of chatter about how he might actually be better than Jokic. I wish the terrible games our bigs (meaning K, P, J, and R) had put up numbers like his.

Down goes 76ers. I am a little surprised by that.

Down goes 76ers. I am a little surprised by that. Different coach, but team still plays at a low level IQ. Knicks do all the little things better and they rebound like mad men. Josh Hart is def the current best rebounding guard in the league. We get frustrated by George, but Harris was a total no show for them. They would kill to have Paul George in that spot. Took 2 shots in their close out game. Averaged under 10 points (and under 10 shots). It's one thing if you're a role player, but he gets star player money.

It’s a damn shame we didn’t have the foresight to sign Thibodeau. He was hanging out with our team when he was unemployed hoping to land an assistant coaching position. TT is a really great coach as evidenced by the way the Knicks respond to him. Lue is a nice guy but a fraud as some sort of coaching savant. I like Darvin Ham much better and would be good with him as our head coach. Ship the fraud across the hall and let the Lakers get a taste of him.

Ballmer is trying to keep Lue instead of the embarrassment of a cross town rival grabbing him. You know he can pay him way more than the Lakes so Lakes are just driving up Lue's paycheck with their own desire rumours. For such a great business man, Balls seems to go into emotional panic mode on these moves (exp: Kawhi and Lue early extensions) paralleling his spaz-like sideline behavior during games. Who is that slightly Sam Cassell looking guy who sits next to him at games? In the organization? Why isn't Lawrence Frank ever there? He's a strange bird, with a terrible wardrobe always featuring his patented patterned button down shirt, but I guess it's better to have him than not. I don't understand Lue's reputation as being worlds better than other coaches. We've seen many many issues with him and his rotations.

Lue is a better coach than Ham.

First half of Cavs-Magic game 6 was great.
Then Cleveland went on a 13-0 run in the 3rd.

Garland 8 second violation.
The Sam Cassell lives on.

Hard to pin anything too egregious on him when we've been expected to lose every series we lost at the point of an injury happening. I think Frank could be on the hot seat though.

What a game 1 with Minnesota-Denver. 2 best teams in the league. What's the FO plan to get past these guys? We'd need to be the ones with the health luck going our way, but if we're healthy and they're healthy they should beat us. We're gonna need an infusion of young talent somehow.

My friend predicted Edwards would have two 40 point games.
That prediction is already 50% there.

I'm having one more regret. I've never predicted a road series team to sweep.
We've had road series teams sweep before. We've even had road series teams sweep defending champs, like when Dallas swept the Lakers in 2011.
I'm not sure when I'll ever think a series is right enough to pick a sweep from a road series team.
If I had already picked Minnesota to win games 1 and 2, I should have just gone for the sweep.
It's so hard for me to ever think a road series team will sweep, even though it sometimes happens. I just never see it coming when it does happen.
