I think I'd vote for Sengun for MIP.
Maxey's was more about a bigger role.
Whereas Sengun, was both a bigger role, and improvement.
Wait how is Sengun eligible? He played in 63 games.
Coby White played in 79.
Ok, this article says he's still eligible if an independent doctor rules Sengun eligible to return through May 31.
Confusing.
I might lean towards White now, because that is a huge difference in games played. Even though I think Sengun defines more of what I think, in terms of improvement. And not just a role increase.

I also would not have given it to Maxey, he was basically just as good last year. I still don't think he's all that improved as a creator, he's just a great shooter and scorer who had more volume this year. Jalen Williams wasn't a bad pick, but do you give it to year 2 guys who naturally improve? Plus he was good last year too and I thought the improvement started in the 2nd half of that year. Sengun was a decent choice. I'd probably have gone with Coby White. It's also his 5th year so not as typical as a 2nd or 3rd year guy who went from pretty mediocre to an actually good player now.

Agree. Maxey was far down my list, for the reasons you mentioned.
If the games played differential were 4 or less, I'd give it to Sengun. But it's a huge differential. And, I think Coby White actually improved. There wasn't a guarantee that with a bigger role, he'd play better.
He had to show and sustain it. 79 games played is great.
