ESPN has Clippers -5 in this game. Lots of other sports books are not taking bets on this game. People suspect there is something going on with the TWolves. Maybe because they mailed it in last night at Portland. They are probably going to be tired and bookies fear they will not give us their best game. Well I know that we won't mail it in against them. We have to win every game we can and we have a lot of hungry dudes coming off the bench who will play really hard to get minutes from the starters if they don't perform. Bradley and Beverley stay in the starting lineup despite how poorly they have played on offense. Doc likes their defense so he is standing pat with them. Don't know if Boban starts tonight or not but it is a definite possibility. Gortat has been a non-factor offensively this year and with our two starting guards not producing Boban may play because of his offense.
I have to like our chances to get a win tonight. Tough back to back for the TWolves, Wiggins has been playing like crap, and Butler may just not be into trying to win with the TWolves this year. If they miss the playoffs this year that will be an epic blow to that franchise. And it is going to be close. Ten teams want those playoff spots in the WC. And only eight will get them.

BTW - Robinson and Thornwell sent down to G-league so you won't be seeing them in the lineup anytime soon. I guess that means more Wallace and Teodosic. Doc could not find any minutes for these young guys so he sent them down so they could work on their games. Good move in my opinion.

Sportsbooks aren't taking bets because they don't know if the best player on the wolves is playing. He probably will. Or Derek Rose, who apparently got sore all over while scoring 50 points the other night.
Anyway lots of sportsbooks have the line at LAC -5.5, O/U 228.

I don't know if it's a tough back to back for Minnesota. But not having Teague hurts them.

KAT can shoot the 3ball so I'm not sure if Boban should start. Boban wasn't even trying to come out on Embied the other day.

www.rotoworld.com/teams/clubhouse/nba/min/minnesota-timberwolvesOK. Teague verified to be out. Butler will play. Rose is still questionable. Helps us a lot that they may not have their two point guards and one may be injured if he does play. I hate to say this will be an easy game for us to beat them because usually when we think that way we relax and lose. Well one thing good about Doc is he does not let up against bad teams and very rarely loses to teams worse than us. And right now the TWolves are worse than us and we have home court advantage. I would give the points.

Starters: SGA, Beverley, Gallo, Tobias, and Boban. Nice! And Williams, Teo, Jerome and Ty as guard backups.

Good win. Too close for too long, but the Clippers were clutch.

Harrell has been playing like a stud this year. Glad we resigned him. He is the heart of the reserve squad. His defense is better and so is his number of blocked shots.
Little fact that people do not realize is that last year's Clipper team was actually better than this Clippers team. Only big difference is that this team is healthier. Having a healthy Gallo as opposed to having an injured Gallo is huge. Ditto with Bradley and Beverley. We would have been a playoff team last year if we had been healthy the whole season. A big plus for this years team was getting rid of Austin Rivers so that our other guards could get that playing time. Big minus is no DeAndre Jordan to rim protect. That is what could kill us in the final analysis. We allow too many easy shots by teams that like to slash.
Good close last night. Several different guys willing to take shots the last five minutes. Good free throw shooting by Lou and Gallo makes us about as good as Crawford, CP3, and Redick closing games with free throws during our lob city heyday. Liked what Jerome Robinson did last night. Only hit two threes but they were both huge for us. This guy could be big for us if he develops. He is the type of player we need to start at shooting guard.
