If you look at records, WAS and HOU are underachieving. OKC seems to have turned it around. Who knows about MIN.

Not going by record, but just a casual observation. Indiana.

Last year was unsustainable for Houston.

I'm more surprised by some of the teams playing really well. The Grizzlies and the Kings?

Its still early but I would say the Suns, the Wizards, and the Magic. Suns and Magic have spent several years in the lottery and still have not come up with much to show for it. Wizards were supposed to be maybe a top tier playoff team in the East by adding Howard and somehow they are one of the worst teams in the league. Wall, Beal, and Howard with Porter and whoever else have really regressed as a team so far. Maybe they will get it together and be good but I have not seen it yet. TWolves and Pelicans also could be added to this list if they don't start winning more. And the Jazz are underperforming as they did early last year. A lot of good teams in the West this year. So some teams are bound to underperform.

Memphis isn't playing up to their best level.
2 years ago, they beat the Warriors twice, and almost a 3rd time.
So far this year, they've lost to the Warriors.
Nothing else matters except for them to beat the Warriors.

I think people forgot Conley missed most of last year so the Grizz struggled. He's probably the most underrated guard in the league. My biggest surprise has to be Denver. I'm not sold on them as a top 2 team in the West. We should've beat them but Doc decided to help them out.

I had them competing for a playoffs spot, before the season started. I think the Grizzlies have a good chance of competing for a playoffs spot, if healthy. I also don't have a problem with Conley's contract. Because at least he can play.

Lakers, Rockets and Wizards. I think the Lakers will turn it around because of LeBron with or without a coaching change. I think the Rockets will stay at .500 battling for a playoff seed. Carmelo is the most overrated cancer in the league and the Rockets lost 2 of their defensive dogs to get him. I've always been more of a CP3 supporter since he left, but I think pairing him with Melo is a bad idea. I think both will divide the locker room.
Edit. Forgot about the Wizards. That's because they are forgettable. I think they are a dumpster fire. They need to blow it up and if they do, I hope John Wall is as far away from the Clippers future plans as Austin Rivers is.

Let's be real. Steph Curry was a slight disappointment the first 10 games after his UMVP season.

Biggest disappointing players so far: Josh Jackson Harrison Barnes Jabari Parker Eric Gordon Avery Bradley Reggie Bullock. As for Gordon, he seems to do this a lot, where he has a month or two with < 38% FG. I had a thread on the old ClipperTalk a few Novembers ago where I also noted that he couldn't shoot or score. .
