I side with Green on this. Durant's impending free agency has been a story for 3 seasons in a row now, with the Warriors. It didn't have to be this way. I agree. The Clippers need to be really careful with KD in the off-season. If he continues to sign 2 year player option deals, that's only gonna keep the organization, coaches, players and us fans on edge. That will only create a toxic environment similar to the last 2 seasons of Lob City. I'd much would rather go for Kawhi, talk Tobi into taking a somewhat team friendly deal and maybe even make a trade offer to the Warriors for Draymond. I will definitely get bashed on for saying that, but I think Draymond would be a great fit for this team. That helps the Warriors keep KD and would definitely reunite the Clippers/Warriors rivalry. I highly doubt the Warriors would trade with us, though. C- Gortat/Bobi F- Green/Harrell F- Tobi G- Kawhi/Jerome G- Shai/Bev What a nightmare line up that would be for the rest of the NBA.

That is a DEEP cut on a teammate. KD is the kind of guy who will hold that grudge for a while. If that truly is what was along the lines of what was said then I don't think Durant is coming back to them if Green is still on the team. Draymond would have to get on his knees hat in hand and ask for forgiveness, which he might do since he was the one who recruited him there in the 1st place. But even then that would be hard to forget especially for someone as sensitive as Durant. And if you know he believes that or is using the thing that has irked you so much that's been coming from other people how could you not want to prove him wrong. You can apologize for that but there's no taking that back. And Durant's defensiveness in answering questions about it tells you he is not cool with it. I actually think the Warriors will explore trading Green, his play is starting to decline as is and I'd bet he's the one they'd prefer not to pay on the next contract.

Give em Dano and Luc.

Tobias has proved the last four games that when teams play lockdown defense on him in the fourth quarter that he just does not score. He is more of a first half scorer like Blake Griffin was. Not good if you want to advance in the playoffs. Can't keep relying on Lou to get us through. And Draymond Green sure could not be counted on to score in crunch time either. Kawhi was miserable last night in trying to close out the Celtics in the last quarter and overtime. I still say Durant under any contract length he wants to sign. But agree that Warriors will keep him at all costs and get rid of Green instead if they have a choice.

I don't know if Green is starting to decline yet. He's just hurt. Let's see what he's like when he's healthy again.
Also the fact that Green did recruit Durant, counts for something. It might make a difference in the end. Maybe, maybe not.

Those other guys have heart.

Aren't you the same person who said Gallo was finished?

Like I already said, teams should be very careful with KD's 2 year player option demands. That just shows that he's gonna bounce off the snap of the fingers and end up in a similar situation as the Heat and Cavs after LeBron left them. No I can't recall saying that Gallo is finished.

I think we all agree here that we need to wish for the Warriors to self destruct in order for us to succeed
