ha I saw that too. Espn has us at #8. If we win in Atlanta tonight, then we'll be tied for 1st in the western conference  We drop to 7th if we lose. |

We are currently tied for #1 in the standings with Blazers and Griz.
We've won 5 in a row.
This may be our peak for the year. Or we may keep going.
I am pretty amazed. I expect to fall back to earth, but I didn't think this would happen at any point this year. I figured we were an 7-8th spot team fighting to make the playoffs. And maybe we are...but not right now!

I think most of us thought we would be bad this season and out of the playoff hunt by now. Like 4 - 12 or something like that. Gallo and Beverley being healthy and playing well I did not count on. Shai being really good I did not count on. Boban playing and helping I did not count on. Harrell playing even better than I though he would. Teams like Houston being injured when we played them. As was OKC and Golden State. So we had healthy players and overachieved and other teams were injured and lost to us. We need better rim protection going forward if we want to beat some of these teams when they are healthy.
Our centers are our big weakness right now. Harrell played with Boban when Boban played last night. So Harrell actually should be playing power forward and not center.
