Zion can reach within 1" as high as Shai, and has 1" less of a wingspan as Shai's 6'11.5".
Shai has the same wingspan as Blake, and his reach is 1" shorter.

He's going to have a Blake Griffin like career. His best years will be early on but eventually all that weight he carries will ruin his knees. I still stand by this. |

When he loses some of his springiness and finds that he has less reach than a lot of SGs, he might have a problem. He'll have to transform into a SG like Blake did. He's got amazing scoring touch around the basket, though, very Barkleyesque, so he should always be able to score effectively around bigger players. |

Let me be clear, if someone we defied all odds and got the first pick I'd take him in a hot second. I just have some doubts that he is the next Lebron, like I keep hearing about him.
And if the Lakers defy all odds and get him, then I will assume the fix is in. Which will make my enjoyment of basketball in general more difficult.
