I forgot Jordan was in a contract year this year. Maybe he is going for stats and playing selfishly. It is a business. I think he goes to the highest bidder next summer. And you are right. That will not be us. If he wanted to come back on a team friendly deal though I would be happy to have him back.

As mannycoon has stated before, the problem might not be whether Griffin or Jordan rebound, or whether they pad their stats.
His belief was that the SGs and SFs were way worse than they should have been, at rebounding. Especially when players like Jamal Crawford were "small forwards".

Dude, I looked it up before I spoke, and gave you extremely specific stats. Did you think I did that off the top of my head? Only you could have memorized that stuff, I had to look it up. And did. Clippers are at 46.3 rebounds per game, tied with Boston for 10th best. Click on the team name to drill down on even more details: stats.nba.com/teams/rebounding/?sort=REB&dir=1

I don't like per game stats, because it's pace dependent. It's also defense dependent. For defensive rebounding, the better the team defense, the more missed shots they will force.
That's why I linked to rebounding percentage stats. That shows that per possession, when a rebound is available, the Clippers are not good.
I was always more impressed with Love's rebounding stats in Minnesota, because he was getting rebounds for a team that was 28th in defense. So they forced less missed shots than most teams, yet he still got rebounds.
I know you looked at stats before you posted. I just thought I would offer pace and defensive independent stats.

Well we have Harrell under contract for next year. If we miss the playoffs there are a number of Center prospects currently projected in late lottery. (Bruno Fernando, Daniel Gafford, Charles Bassey, Naz Reid, and Jontay Porter) We should still have Motley. Plus we'll probably look to sign a vet on the cheap.

The rebounding stat is over valued. DJ sits under the basket waiting for rebounds instead of getting out on his man. I'd rather have someone who plays defense than a guy who sits under the rim.
