Clippers favored by 11. Suns have proven to be the worst team in the NBA so far this season. With Booker not playing they can't score enough to make most of their games competitive. Josh Jackson, Ayton, Bridges all are disappointments as rookies so far. This team headed for a top lottery selection again this season. Why they signed Ariza and why he is producing absolutely nothing for them is really a mystery. Suns fans don't deserve a team this bad or management that is that incompetent. I would say this is going to be an easy game but that is what I said about the Heat game and look what happened. But even so this should be an easy game for us. The tough game will be at home against the Raptors tomorrow night.

The Knickerbockers are the worst team, to me.

I disagree that their rookies are bad. They are not living up to their draft position perhaps, but I don't think they're bad.

Ayton just got destroyed by Boban last time we played them. He isn't a stretch big. If he can't get his numbers in the paint he isn't going to give you anything. And Joshua Jackson isn't an efficient shooter from anywhere on the court. www.rotoworld.com/teams/clubhouse/nba/pho/phoenix-sunsI think what they should have done is take Doncic in the draft. Ayton is a run of the mill old fashioned big who just isn't that valuable in today's game. Otherwise take Jaren Jackson Jr. who is a stretch big who can run the floor and shoot threes. Ayton I fear will be a bust. Mikal Bridges is another guy who does not appear to be anything special. And he was drafted right before Shai Gigeous-Alexander. So they probably made two big mistakes in the draft. Now Ariza to the Lakers? Well at least that makes some kind of sense since he is totally worthless to them at this point with their record.

Lou out for rest of game. We're down 5 midway into the 4th.

Lou out with sprained hammy. Should never have been this close.

Tough stretch ahead, and doing it without Lou puts us behind the 8-ball.
Next 11 games:
Tue, Dec 11 vs Toronto Thu, Dec 13 @ San Antonio Sat, Dec 15 @ Oklahoma City Mon, Dec 17 vs Portland Thu, Dec 20 vs Dallas Sat, Dec 22 vs Denver Sun, Dec 23 @ Golden State Wed, Dec 26 vs Sacramento Fri, Dec 28 @ Lakers Sat, Dec 29 vs San Antonio Tue, Jan 1 vs Philadelphia
If we come out 6-5 we'll be doing well. If we come out 7-4, it will show we're legit. 8-3 and we are to be feared in the playoffs.

We just went to overtime over the arguably worst team in the league, after losing to a fairly bad team before that. We're not going 7-4. Toronto, OKC, Portland Dallas, Denver, Golden State, Lakers, and our "easy" games are San Antonio twice, and Sacramento?
I doubt we even go .500 over the next 10. We'd be lucky if we did, if we continue to play like this.

How did Milos look? His numbers look good. He looked decent, considering that he hardly plays at all. Made a few nice assists. He needs more playing time to get into the game rhythm. He may get that tonight with Lou probably out.

We suck. Period. We made all of the underperforming rookies and second year players on the Suns look like All Stars last night. We played the last 15 minutes of the game with a combination of small forwards (Gallinari and Harris) playing center. That is what made Ayton look good for a change. He could get his shots off and get good position playing against small forwards. Without Lou and Harrell getting 40 for us off the bench we are going to be toast. One positive is that with Lou out Shai has to finish games and he has to step up and take game changing shots. No more deferring to other guys. He has to be the man or we lose. Not sure what is going on with Harrell since I missed the first three quarters of the game. But he has been off lately. Maybe Ayton too big for him since that is the guy who would be assigned to guard him. Whatever. Hated to see us taken to overtime by these guys. But good for Igor. Like to see him win some games there as long as it isn't against us. We are the ones who brought him into the league under Gentry I think.
