Game Information:
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
When: 7:30 PM PT
How to watch: Prime Ticket, FSPT (Clippers), Spectrum SportsNet (Lakers), NBA TV Radio: 570 AM (Clippers), 710 AM (Lakers)
Betting Line: Clippers -5.5, Lakers +5.5 -- Over/Under: 229.5
Projected Starting Lineups:
Clippers: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Avery Bradley – Tobias Harris – Danilo Gallinari – Marcin Gortat
Lakers: Lonzo Ball – Josh Hart – Brandon Ingram – Kyle Kuzma – Ivica Zubac
Injuries:
Clippers: Luc Mbah a Moute Out (knee)
Lakers: LeBron James Likely Out (groin), Rajon Rondo Questionable (finger), JaVale McGee Questionable (illness), Michael Beasley Questionable (personal), Tyson Chandler Questionable (back)
Notes:
Johnathan Motley time: Motley was called up for the second time this season on Wednesday morning before the Kings game, but did not play. Doc said that Motley would probably get some minutes against the Lakers, and this would be a great opportunity for him, especially if Chandler and McGee are out.
Attacking the Lakers: If either Tyson Chandler or JaVale McGee is out, or both, the Lakers will deploy Ivica Zubac, who has come out of nowhere to make a big impact over the past few games. However, he’s not the fleetest of foot, and is exploitable on defense. Lonzo Ball is a very good defender, and it will be important for Shai to not get rattled by his pressure early. On the other end, Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram will lead the Lakers attack, with Tobias Harris and Danilo Gallinari likely the two players spending the most time on them.
Bench: Lakers have an exploitable bench right now. Their bench is currently headlined by Lance Stephenson, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Tyson Chandler. You’ll notice there isn’t a single point guard among those players.

Nice notes.
Can you update your post to include that it's on NBA TV?

Love this thread start. Completely different than the way I start game threads but better. I think Rondo, McGee, and James are all definitely out. I think we will not only win this game but cover the spread. We have a lot of incentive to win tonight and most of our guys are healthy. Not like the Lakers. www.rotoworld.com/teams/clubhouse/nba/lac/los-angeles-clippersLet's look at us for a change. I can see from the stats that both Beverley and Bradley are having a rough year as far as shooting is concerned. 36% for Beverley and 39% for Bradley on all field goal attempts is not very good. The 34% for Bev on threes isn't bad and 30% from Bradley isn't horrible. But Shai has them both beat by a considerable margin with with 49% total and 37% from the three. And on 30% more attempts. Plus, he gets to the line more often and makes his free throws at the same rate as them. Beverley beats him on rebounding and assists in fewer minutes. So I think Shai is the better player of the three but he still needs to get better at assists and rebounding the ball. And Bradley and Beverley have to pick up their scoring and shooting percentages. And what can you say about Gallo? 467% from three and 460% on all FG attempts. The guy is shooting better from three point range than two point range. It is still efficient since he has made 81 threes but still I wish he was doing better from two point range. Notice he steps back to three point range on a lot his shots to make them three point attempts. At least he is a high IQ player that pays attention to that kind of stuff. Enough. Go Clippers. Clobber the bitch asses tonight. First win against Lebron led Lakers. Who cares if he does not play.

Unfortunately, my posts and Mistwell's are about the only ones you can read in these game threads. Too bad guys like manycoon, VFHS, Trapp, and some of the other guys who used to post in the old forum don't post crap anymore. And don't point out the posts these guys did make. I am aware of what everybody posts. And what few posts they are doing are complete crap. No analysis or game talk. Just Doc stinks, nothing, and whatever from these guys. Well I hate to see this board die from lack of participation but if that is what people want so be it.

He had only 1 post in December. Maybe it's because of the holidays? We'll see how often he posts in January.

He doesn't want to read someone's posts.
I suggested ignoring, but he said it still just changes the tone of the thread.

I'll be able to watch this game.
My first in a long time.
And I can watch it live, too.

Bradley scores the first bucket for the Clippers.

Seems like the Clippers can win this game at the foul line.
Just keep getting fouled, and then fouled the Lakers and watch their bricks.

The Lakers aren't putting out much effort.
This should be a double digit game soon.

Harris should not get a better contract than Gallo. He is not a max player by any stretch.

That person is not posting very much anymore.
