Clippers by 3.5. Spurs played at Denver last night and lost by 3. They must be tired. Our starter got their asses kicked by the young and dumb Lakers starters last night. So they must be looking for some redemption and should have better games tonight. Can't rely on Harrell and Lou to bail them out every night. Boban played like real crap last night. Almost as many turnover as points. And he played like crap in the fourth quarter against the Kings too. Guy is bad on defense and guys go right at him. Which is what the Lakers were doing. Except for Zubac. He was the only one who could not beat Boban with his size of quickness. So some guys it works against. A lot of guys it doesn't.
I still hate the freaking Spurs. Don't forget the decades they spent kicking our asses. No mercy tonight. Hold them at bay with our starters and then crush them with our reserves.

Clippers vs Spurs.
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California
When: 7:30 PM PT
How to watch: Fox Sports Prime Ticket, FSSW, NBA TV Radio: 570 AM
Betting Odds: Los Angeles Clippers -3.5 -- Over/Under: 227.5
Projected Starting Lineups: Spurs: Derrick White – Bryn Forbes – DeMar DeRozan – Rudy Gay – LaMarcus Aldridge
Clippers: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Avery Bradley – Tobias Harris – Danilo Gallinari – Marcin Gortat
Injuries: Spurs: Dejounte Murray Out (knee) Clippers: Luc Mbah a Moute Out (knee)
Game Notes from ClipsNation:
Both teams tired: The Clippers and Spurs will both be on the second night of a back to back, and playing their third game in four nights. The Spurs should be a bit more tired, because they had to travel last night while the Clippers played in LA, but both teams are probably going to be sloppy. Expect tired legs on jump shots, slow rotations on defense, and just generally lower-quality basketball tonight. Pop and Doc might also dig a bit deeper into their benches if starters look tired or out of sorts – maybe we will finally get that Johnathan Motley debut game.
Revenge game for Clips: The last time the Clippers played the Spurs, they were right in the midst of their down stretch, and had probably their worst game of the season, losing by 38 points in San Antonio. Rest assured that the Clippers have not forgotten that performance, and have been waiting for a chance to return the favor. Even if they’re tired, and perhaps not at their sharpest, I’d expect them to come out hungry and vengeful tonight.
Stopping LMA: LaMarcus Aldridge was virtually unstoppable in that contest a couple weeks ago, scoring 27 points on 12-14 shooting, and mercilessly torching whatever the Clippers threw at him. He’s a great player, but the Clippers need to find a way to slow him down, or they’re going to be in trouble once more. I think soft double teams (or random ones) plus switching up defenders could help. Motley actually theoretically matches up well with LMA, but throwing him straight from the G-League into the path of Aldridge is asking a lot. Still, I’d be interested in seeing him get a shot guarding the Spurs’ big man.

However, they did supposedly call the Clippers players "trash" when approached for a Leonard trade last summer.

Today's game is not on NBA TV. NBA TV is showing Golden State vs. Portland.
They showed Houston vs. New Orleans earlier in the day.

Too many turnovers in the first quarter.
32 - 30 Spurs, end of the first.

I don't know what happened there in the 3rd. Turnovers again? Spurs take a double digit lead.

Ran out of gas. Bad performance from all. Time to regroup vs 6’ers.

Horrible game. No energy. No enthusiasm. Very disappointing. Yes, it was the tail end of a back to back, but it was a Staples Center back to back and these are top athletes.

Aldridge killed us in the paint. And I suppose DeRozan did too. Too ugly for me to watch. Spurs on a back-to-back from Denver and had a tough game. We play them as if we were a G-league team. Every time I start to get optimistic about this team they throw in a game like this. Bench Boban. Play Gortat.
