Man I sure have missed talking smack with you guys and have been looking for this board forever. The great thing is that your team is relevant and has a good chance of making the playoffs. I am impressed. A whole lot sure has happened since we last talked. Same ole CP3 going down again to injury and who would have thought getting Rivers would be a Godsend so far? Creating for us and providing some much needed defense. And my oh my Harden is taking it to another level again after last year's MVP year!! MVP, MVP!
I hope that from a personal note that 2019 is much better for you guys than 2018 was so I wish you a Happy New Year!!!!

Welcome back htown! We have been dying to talk smack with you. How do you like that CP contract? 4 years of Harden, CP, Capela and scrubs. Nice! Hey I already said I wasnt for the max contract when he was traded but I knew there was probably a wink wink handshake on the table to get him to come to Htown....Personally I was hoping we could get at least 2 good years(WCF or more) from his contract but alas here we are with the ole hammy again... At least for CP3weeks sake its early in the season and with Harden going on an MVP like assault we have learned to win without him....Our two-way contract player in Danuel House Jr (from Houston) has been huge and we are undefeated with him starting....and so far the Austin Rivers picked up has helped as well.. gives us depth with the CP3 and now Gordon injury we have picked up some wins against some good teams....Unfortunately we have the Warriors up next..sure would like to put another L on them....we started out slow but at least no one ran away in the Western conference and we are now finding our groove in winning 9 of 10. Looks like the Anthony pickup was a big mistake but I dont think they gave him a fair chance to see what he could do.....but hey...In Morey we trust!!!!! Harden has made Capela into an all-star.....we owe you guys since you have already taken 2 from us (even though not with full squad..  ) |

Cant remember how I came across madflabby's twitter because I rarely use twitter...i think my post to him was my 1st..I did it on Oct 13 and just went back yesterday on Twitter and saw he had responded the same day with the new website..... |

Is that named after Kelvin Cato? When he was traded to Orlando, I listened to his interview. I liked him. I had his joint press conference with Mobley and Francis saved on my desktop for several years. I think it was a Real Player video file. I'll look through my 2008 PC backup to see if I had saved it at that time.
I've been meaning to look through my 2008 PC backup for something else, and I'll add this as something else to check out.

htownfan, what's your Twitter? In case we lose contact again (i.e. if Pro Boards shuts down), it would be good to have some contact info so we can find you again. Although you also gave your ClutchFans SN too, so that also helps.

htownfan, what are your thoughts on Dallas Keuchel not being signed yet? I don't know how many years or dollars he's looking for, but if it's anything reasonable, any team would be lucky to have him IMO. If he wants 4 years, then I'd do 4 years, $56M. If he can accept 3 years, then 3 years, $47M.

If he can accept 3 years, then 3 years, $47M. With our slow start we could still use him.....I really don't know why he hasn't gotten an offer yet.....Verlander as you know got an extension....Keuchal isnt going to overpower you though like a verlender...I wouldnt do more than 3 years myself... |
