My Padres aren't there yet but the talent (rookies and minor leagues) is insane. Next year a lot of dead salary will be off of the books and if the kids continue to progress.....we could be pretty good.

Tatis has maintained his hype. Gore is still super far away. Chris Paddack came up and should be really hyped coming into the next season. |

Because pitching prospects are risky. ...but mostly because the Marlins are run terribly.

I can't even blame this on the Jeter group. I do think he's one of the worst owners in sports.
