Warriors by 7. Cousins first game back should make this interesting. Warriors have been on a scoring tear lately. Not sure how we could slow them down. We may play harder then them and give them a good game that they eventually win. Or they could just extend our losing streak by routing us. We can't guard Durant, Curry, or Thompson. So there is that. Love to hear contrary opinions supporting the idea that the Clippers will actually win this game.

Game will be disappointing. Not worth watching. The Warriors are starting to ramp it up, as evidenced by their beatdown of the #2 team Denver on their home court. Expect the NBA to get very boring for the rest of the season and playoffs.
Other than moaning about Avery, Austin and CP, what is there left to discuss?
I am surprised at how the current team is relatively free from drama. Not one player has gone off script in interviews or social media.

I hope we're underestimated and Clippers get their mojo back. A win here could bring the fan base back for a half dozen games.

"Bradley. Air."
So many plays go like that.

Lou is going to miss at least a couple more games with his hamstring injury. Not sure about Gallo.

But Shai had a really nice game. He shot the ball reasonably well and he scored 24 points. And he was actually looking for his shot the whole game. Harris had a real nice first half too.
That lineup of Wallace, Boban, Motley, Robinson, and Beverley that we used was something that did not even resemble a professional NBA team. Its good to give these guys some run but they had absolutely no clue about how to defend the Warriors. That is when they ran up about 10 points of their lead before Doc pulled the plug. His idea was obviously to play Boban against Cousins thinking he was an immobile post center. Instead Cousins nailed two three pointers while Boban was standing under the basket watching him.
Motley is an active guy with a nose for the ball but he isn't a defensive presence at all. He needs to box out and get some rebounds to be effective. He plays as if he is a small forward on defense and like a center on offense. It isn't working at the NBA level like it does in G-league.
Bottom line is the Warriors were not even trying in this game other than playing bad lineups so they could keep the game a lot closer than it should have been. We shot like 36% from the field. And bad from three point land. Just a terrible offensive game without Lou playing and Harrell not being effective like he usually is. And we have Pop coming up tomorrow who is known for showing crippled teams no mercy.

Welp, football season is over for me so now I can invest all of my sports time on basketball. One thing I noticed about the Clippers this game as opposed to our strong early start is the lack of confidence. Early on, the Clippers looked like they can compete against everyone. Now they look lost. Lack of leadership. We need a star. We also need to move on from Doc.
