Who are the starting guards? Beverley and Bradley makes no sense. Need more playmaking and/or height.

Gortat Harrell Gallinari Beverley Gilgeous-Alexander (or Teodosic until Gilgeous-Alexander is ready to start).
Main subs:
Mbah a Moute Williams Robinson Marjanovic Harris Teodosic (once Gilgeous-Alexander is ready to start)
I don't want Harrell playing too many minutes at center, so that's why Gortat is starting.
And I still want Harrell starting.
Gallinari and Beverley for shooting.
Sure, Harris is pretty good, but this lineup creates the balance I'd want.

What are everyone else's lineups?

What are everyone else's lineups? There's none I like, LOL. I think it'll be Bev/Milos/Harris/Gallo/Gortat, and that's going be pretty flawed on defense and rebounding. Bradley will probably end up getting starts at some point, and that lineup is flawed on height and offense. It makes me want Luc to start, but Gallo is going to have to sprain his groin for that to happen. Substitute early and substitute often. Doc may have to adjust his starting lineups a lot based on opponent makeup.

I think there was a consistent lineup he could have played, but he didn't think it would be a good idea for every game. Why don't you have Harrell starting anywhere?

Why don't you have Harrell starting anywhere? Why? Do you think Doc will consider starting him? I doubt it, except for injury. I like Montrezl a lot and think he should get a lot of playing time, more than last season. There are going to be plenty of situations where Gortat isn't going to work out against a running team with a smaller/quicker front line, and Montrezl should be starting or subbed in as soon as the trouble starts. Doc has a lot of options but I expect he'll pick a lineup and stick with it because he seems like a stable pecking order and defers to veterans. So certain guys are going to start no matter what. I like Luc in there, too. A small lineup of Bev/SG/Luc/Tobias/Gallo has merits and flaws.

Harris is our best player and unquestionably starting.

I guess the thread is asking who will start, not who we want to start. I'll have a new answer then later.

Harris is our best player and unquestionably starting. I'll follow that lead: Harris is our best offensive player and unquestionable starting. Gortat is our best center and unquestionably starting.Beverley is our best guard/player and unquestionably starting. Gallo is our 2nd best offensive player and unquestionably starting. Beverley is our best guard/player and unquestionably starting. Milos is our other returning starting guard and the position is his until someone takes it Bradley is our next best veteran guard and will start if Milos isn't 100% Lou is and will always be 6th man. As always, injuries will shake this up

By the way, if I'm in charge, one thing I'd have the team doing is showcasing talent that I'm thtnking of making available for trade and who might bring the best midseason return in picks or positional upgrades that we need. Who that will be will depend on player development and injuries. But if I'm thinking that Bradley is a trade candidate, for example, I'll be damn sure to put him out there in good lineups that he can succeed in so I can get as high a draft pick as possible in a trade.

Yeah. The balance will come from how well the players are playing. Doc may either be hiding or showcasing, developing on the court or waiting for development in practice.
There are a lot of moving parts. Guy's progress returning from injuries, guys developing fast or slow, everybody playing well, nobody playing well, rookies that can't grasp the defense, guys that can shoot but make turnovers, guys that can't shoot....
Doc and staff are going to have their hands full and if they can manage all these player issues and still win half the games, he should be coach of the year.
I hope everyone is healthy, then Doc is really going to have to spread the minutes around. He might have to be doing hockey substitutions.

I think that's been the plan all along, it's the only way the aggregate of all the off-season moves can make any sense, i.e. the myriad of guards and redundancy of skill sets. Who will be traded at the deadline will depend a great deal on what some contending team will need and what assets they will be willing to give up in return.
This season is all about next season and beyond.
(Too bad "beyond" will be sans Ralph Lawler...)
