Clippers by 5.5. Lakers probably don't have Lebron back yet for this game. Kuzma still has some injury so he may not play either. And Hart may not play. And Ball is still out. Lakers worst free throw shooting team in the league. Shooting less than 70% from the line. We have made more than 300 more free throws than they have this season. These guys like Ball, Kuzma, and Lebron can't shoot very well from the free throw line.
Well we are up two in the standings on them so this game is big because it will be a two game swing in the standings for whoever wins. So it is like a playoff game. Unless the Lakers just can't compete with their depleted roster and just give up and we blow them out. Either way we need to get this win. I expect Lou to break out of his slump and lead the way. He can't have three bad shooting games in a row can he. Not sure how the Lakers beat us because usually we lose to teams with talented big men. Lakers have McGee, a washed up Tyson Chandler, and Zubac. Now Zubac has been playing well lately but we should be able to guard him. Just guard Ingram and KCP and whoever else they have on their roster and we should beat them easily.
Bradley may be out for us and Gallo definitely is.

That offensive foul that was called as a defensive foul changed the result of this game.

Not looking good for us to make the playoffs. The top 7 teams are just playing better ball and now the Lakers have LeBron back.

We were without our second best player and it took the Lakers using the refs to beat us. We were plenty on.

Huge loss for our playoff chances. I don’t see us making the playoffs this season. I think we finish 9th. But thats not so bad, we will get to keep our pick and have a chance at Zion (even if it’s small). We have done enough to show potential free agents that we can be an attractive destination this season, even if we don’t make the playoffs. So we are still in a good spot.
We need to do whatever we can to try and move Gallo’s contract at the deadline, we need to be sellers.

But I did see this, for San Antonio's schedule: 2/4, @ Sacramento, 7pm, NBA TV 2/6, @ Golden State, 7:30 PM, ESPN 2/7, @ Portland, 7:30 PM, TNT Usually the league has stopped scheduling back to back national TV games, between ESPN/TNT/ABC. But it looks like the Spurs didn't get the treatment most teams get. This is a big week for them in the standings.

Lakers played like it was a playoff game. Really tightened up their defense in the fourth quarter. Boban and Williams only guys who could get off their man and score. Gallo would have been an enormous help in this game. That Lance Stephenson asshole beat us with his three point shooting. Plus, he committed a flagrant foul against Boban by punching him in the jaw and got rewarded for it with a three point play. What in the hell were the refs looking at. Even the review they failed to call a flagrant. It pisses me off to lose to the Lakers. Maybe it will light a fire under our team and we will kick some ass on the road trip. We have to at least win three of those games to stay in the playoff hunt.

I think the "light a fire" thing only works for the first 2 - 3 weeks of the season, if the team is off to a sluggish start.
At this point, it's a process to just improve.

We were without our second best player and it took the Lakers using the refs to beat us. We were plenty on. i think you’re right. Sometimes I feel like it’s the opposite. I feel like we win when we catch other teams on their off nights, but when we lose, the other team is having a great night.

The Lakers also had a lot of injuries. No they didn't. Their top players were playing. Only Ball was out, and that was not a big loss. Gallinari is a huge loss for us.
